Very cool Brian. I lived on the NH\Maine Coast for many years and would head to the rocky outcrops in the winter to watch the harbor seals hang about. I too could never live away from the coast :)
That is my favorite location Brain, I like to go horse back riding down the beach, or the bed & breakfast at the end of main st. With the herbal garden room, wow... So relaxing hope you had a wonderful time with family, that's really all we have that counts.
This video was taken at the north end of Moss Beach. I haven't tried that resturaunt yet, but it sounds great. Your so right time with family is the best way for me to spend my time, we had a blast.
Mr. Gundy I just have to say I love all of your videos and find you to be a joy to watch , listen and learn from. With that I say Thank you!!! I am from WI and wish I could see your shop and just pick at your brain (knowledge) for a day! Thank you for all that you do and teach!! God's Peace be with you and yours! Till next time take care and I hope YOU are having a GREAT season!!! :) Thanks again, Neil
@fgs9 Good for you! I feel like people should start paying more attention to their burms since in 20 years, you guys might not have any left in the U.S. Cheers! Love that you do videos on all sorts of animals, keep it up!
Hey Brian, I don't mean any disrespect. Does everyone call it a minus tide in California. I have always heard it called low tide. Unless it has something to do with where you are? Just wondering
None taken. You're right, but there are more than 2 terms used when talking about tides. The term minus tide is used when the low tide spikes at a lower than normal range. It's then that walking through tide pools is its most fun.The day before I looked on line to see what time the lowes tide was. The cool thing is that the graph went below zero. The graph told me that at 4:44pm the tide was going to be a little lower than ussual, or a minus tide. I hope that helps.
@fgs9 thanks Brian, I learn something new everyday. We have always just called it low tide. I guess it is because we don't have those pools. At least I have never seen them in north Carolina or in new england.
@fgs9 last time i was there i was watching mavericks surf competition. if youve never seen that brian you must go, 80 foot wave!!! you can fell the beach shake when the waves cap over!!!
I've always wanted to watch Mavericks, I'm sure I would enjoy the experience. I go to Santa Cruz a lot and go over to sea cliff drive to watch the surfers at Steamers Lane.
