Don't listen to the 'Wayans brothers' jerk, or the people who have *nothing* to say except criticism on your pronunciation. The ichlauts aren't the most important thing - what ultimately matters in a performance is your character and presence, and that, combined with your appealing voice, makes this my favorite rendition of Der Jager yet. Keep singing!
WTF was this...........sounded the Wayans brothers characters in "White Chicks" trying to sing German......such a travesty. I pray to GOD that this wasnt a recital at a major university.
I must admit that it drags a bit and thus loses momentum and that aggitated feeling in the song. But a lovely 'honest' tone with all the right stresses in place! Plus the stroke of the beard...priceless!
I like your voice very much, and your interpretation too! To pronounce the German language is not easy, that's true, but I must say that I can fully understand the text ( what is not unimportant, to my opinion, when listening to Brahms).
really good voice, and really expressive, but your pronunciation needs work. it sounds really English overall, especially your R's and I's. i'd recommand to listen to Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau for a perfect example or German diction. But keep up, you have potentional !

I couldn't help but notice your trouble with the ichlauts on the words mich and dich. You pronounced them with an esh.
