  • It started (the italian renaissance) because the wave of plague hit there first therefore leaving it first (Italy). There is always genius, but due to one's environmant can that genius fluorish.

    Ottoman Turks conquered Constantinople in 1453. All the remarkable scholars fled to Italy after the fall of Constantinople. Eastern Roman (so called Byzantine) Empire fell dude it happened just after that. Eastern Europe blocked by Turks thats why the exploration and navigation started.

    A lot of geniuses were born well before 1453.

  • @amati1975 ffs just listen to the historians not the internet. Ive been to florence and i have family from there, if you see it it's easy to tell. Why would everyone say it started in florence if it didnt? I learn at school that it started in florence, they arent making this shit up.
