Electric guitar way too loud if you are going to play as a group at least try to blend the sounds so it's harmonic instead of boisterously loud electric guitar.
Martin needed to turn it down. He was playing to loud, out of sink, and doing to much when earl was soloing. He dude your'e playing with a all time great, know body never heard of you.
Perfect!!! Love it!! Once travelled all the way from London to Indianapolis to see Earl play! Always been a really huge fan and love his music. Great footage!!!
Who know the name of this song and who is the original player? I remember I've listen Martin pay this tune in his concert before...maybe his own composition? Sounds like this is a Django's tune?
Ah yes, from 9 mins 20 secs it's Martin's own tune called "Chez Fernand"" which is on the "Spirit Of Django"CD. The name is attached to the cafe that Django Reinhardt frequented.
Great video, the music and the talking. And it´s true, the acoustic guitar is much more an instrument for " live- in a band performances" than all the years before. When MTV started the "unplugged" series, the luthiers and big companies started to work on the feedback problems, invented pick-up solutions, notch filters and all that. I´m no fan of MTV, but that was surely a big influence to recover the acoustic guitar for many people, I think.
Earl is a zen master on nylon strings... good lord do I love his sound

Great playing by two guitar legends, I wish Earl was louder or that Martin was playing more softly.

First saw Klugh at a tiny Club in Seattle-backing George Benson. He was special when he was still a puppy.

If you name your kid Martin Taylor, he's obviously going to be a guitarist. I wonder if there's a rock guitarist somewhere named Gibson Fender...

Awesome. It's not too often that a Jazz guitar and nylon strung guitar go well together. Simply beautiful.
