You can't even compare Hey Monday and Paramore. Their singing styles and their bands are completely different. Just because you've got a girl as the lead singer doesn't mean you've got to lump everyone together in the same pot. Look at bands like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Flyleaf, Evanescence, The Gossip, the Distillers, the Dresden Dolls...even No Doubt. Cassadee obviously has vocal talent, but comparing her to other singers who have completely different styles is just ridiculous.

This is now my favorite national anthem sung at a sports event. Cassadee did amazing! Like most that I've heard, the singers always butcher it with their own style (like holding a note wayyyy to long or something like that). But she nailed it. I've never seen her or Hey Monday live, but I will on the GK tour.. and I can't wait! :)
