Watching all of the Top 10 performances by Clay again makes me wonder anew how the HELL Ruben won... It's obvious to anyone with half a brain and any musical taste what-so-ever that Clay outclasses him by more than 20 miles, never mind just one... sounds to me like his voice had been a bit overworked when he sang this. a couple of flaws crept in due to vocal strain. perhaps that is why he looked so relieved when he finished. still, he gave a beautiful performance of a challenging song. what an amazing voice.
