  • 2 thumbs up dude. That song is awesome. who sings it??

  • First off I have to admit I know nothing about what it's like to run or work on a farm, but did he pull the insemination tube from out his back? It looked long so perhaps having it your pocket is not an option. Do bulls serve any other purpose than insemination or pulling plows? If not and the only other place they end up is the slaughter house, then at what age do they usually get sent there?

  • this song was on grand theft auto

  • intantly paralysed once anyone sticks anything up ur butt

  • i like pigs and i keep it here under a charity registered in UK, called AWAN, AFRICAN WOMEN AID NETWORK, you check it out on you tube, title, PIGLET MADNESS, OUR PIGS PRODUCED 3 TIMES A YEAR AND ON AVERAGE ONE CAN HAVE 300PIGS in a year from just one pigs coz some produced 15piglets at once, and we give 2 piglets away out of the 15piglets produced, its changing lives in uganda

  • That impressed me as you didn`t even tie the heifer up! whenever the guy comes around to our farm to do it , they always put up a fight! (Well not always I suppose, all cows are different in nature.) But the thing is, no rope! Amazing!

  • the song is also in gta xD

  • I couldn't stop giggling at the music. Your heifer is very calm.

  • gr8 vid

  • if you get turned on by this stuff, you're looking in the wrong place. petsex d0t c0m is the place for you, ONLY if you get turned on. If you really do, you need a little help, pal.

  • what a stupid thing to say you obviously have no clue of how a dairy farm is run

  • Comment removed

  • No bulls

  • @holsteincowboy quiet heifer there!

  • what a lovely quiet heifer..i wish shewas mine..i wud do more than ai her!

  • lol...i can totally see her sayin "wtf!? Thats it! no roses? What about a ring?"...or something lol

  • boxcar willie,what is the name 2 the song,thanks:)

  • hey good lookin'

  • have question,ho sings this song i like thanks:)

  • It's Boxcar Willie !

  • Thanks, holsteincowboy, any place that you recommend to learn A.I.??i reside in Avondale Az. very interested in learn.

  • how in the world did you inseminate that heifer w/o restraining her?

  • They must think i am a bull :) I can't do this with all the cows

THis one was amazing because she never moved even 1 inch while she was AI'd !

  • @orbit15 thats what i was think i was gonna how may times have you been kicked i thinking alot of times!

  • that's nuts

  • as if you didn't have her tied....I was gunna ask if you have to halter break them but...never mind

  • Honestly she was not tied haha

  • she must be stump broke.

  • haha ! I AI cows/heifers unrestrained quite often - See my newer AI video 'Getting cows pregnant with artificial insemination"

  • how much do you think heifers will sell for this year?

  • A quality 2- 3 year holstein heifer sells for £1000 - £1400 at auction. ($2000- $2800 US) Shortage of animals and higher milk prices are driving the boyant market

  • I can't believe you bred her without any restraints. Our heifers would run. :-) We always put them in a stall or a catch chute.

  • Same here.

  • hol thanks for the response.

what does a weaned male calf cost?

  • Beef breed such as Angus or Limousin about $500-$600 US. A lot less for a Holstein

  • hey holsteincowboy, liked your vid

what do you pay for a heifer?

  • Prices are quite good right now - $1000 US for a open heifer. $2000 for a fresh calved one - More if they are pedigree

  • She just got knocked up :)

  • Got that egg fertilized :) She is due to have a "girl" on Christmas day.

Look out for a video of mom and daughter late Dec !

  • aww, so cute! You did a good job papa :)

  • how many cows you guys milking? i am part owner of a dairy farm, and i love the job. its always good to see the cows producing nice healthy babies. but how do you know its a girl, you get your guys checked for the sex of the calf? just hope she doesnt have any problems caving if she calves on chirstmas and ruins your day. lol has happend to me before.

  • 180 holsteins.I use sexed semen -All the male sperm are removed before it is packed into straws and delivered to the farm

Should calve ok as most problems are caused by big bull calves.

Is your farm in Ontario ?

  • how much is sexed sperm? the stuff we buy is between 10-20 each straw. and no our farm isnt in ontario. its in manitoba

  • £20 - £35 which is about the same price as i pay for semex straws from Canada.

Looked at dairy farms for sale in Manitoba a few years ago mostly in the red river valley area around Steinbach also looked some in interlake and Brandon area's

  • you looking to buy another farm? or do you just want to move. Ours is right on the bank of the Red river. and its about 30 minutes from steinbach.

  • Wanted to move Did your farm get flodded 10 years ago in the "Big flood" ? I remember reading about it in the Manitoba Co--Opereator newspaper

  • what made you want to move to manitoba? ya it did we had to move all the cows and heifers to a different farm away from the flood. was not a fun time at all.

  • 4 reasons

1.Better lifestyle . Told i can make a living with 50 cows in MB - Here you would have to milk 200+ to make similar money

2.Better weather - More sunshine hours

3.Lower land prices due to exchange rate.

    4.Friendly people

  • well what you heard is true there are guys milking 50 cows and living a good life. they get a nice free stall barn with a double 8 parlour and you can be done milking the cows in about 30-60 mins easily. ah about the weather i dont know about that the weather here isnt really all that great 8 months out of the year it is COLD here. and the people are really friendly out here, but thats just all canadians, haha.

  • I know this was posted 8 months ago but...isn't quota alot cheaper in MB. then in Ontario?? We are a friendly bunch, eh? LOL

  • ppl! if we dont injest any Calcium then our bones and teeth will pay the price! u freaking Vegans!

  • Has mummy gave you your bottle of warm milk yet?

  • soya is sexier,

    milk is for babies.

  • true - we're the only species on this planet to continue drinking milk after infancy and childhood. (mu daughter drank my milk for 3 years.) It's weird we continue to drink milk - but it's sooooo goooood.

  • actually most dairy cows suffer from severe mastitis , causing the milk to be contaminated with blood and pus, but this is acceptable, its one of the reasons i gave it up.

  • well i have been working on a dairy farm more many years now, and if most of your cows had mastitis obviously you werent doin a good job, mastitis is a bacterial infection whihc is caused for either dirty stalls, inproper milking, or just getting sick. you make it sound like such a bad thing, our cows hardly ever get mastitis cause we take care of our animals. and its not like its only a problem on dairy farms lactating mothers (humans) can get it too.

  • milk is for babies,! yes i know that human mums get mastitis too, but their milk is only for thier baby, same should apply to all animals,

i'm so glad i was weaned off milk ( of any kind ) many years ago.

by the way i dont have any cows, i have no need for them. other than to see them as a beautiful animal, another of earths creatures.

  • you sound like some little Pro animal bastard. animals are here for us to kill and eat, get over it. you guys arent going to change the world

  • thats a very sad response, says it all really !

  • would you eat an aligator? your pet? a monkey? your mother? humans are mammals too

  • Sure ! I had a alligator burger for breakfast this morning. You should try some today. Monkey is fantastic -Just like chicken.mmmmmmmmm

  • i doubt you work any farm, especially if you spend time on youtube

  • Eat beef Drink milk Be happy

  • well don't breed the cow then

  • No calf - No milk !

  • what do you do with the calf after it's born? Does it go to one of those nasty veal farms where they keep the babies in the dark in little crates? Is there even an alternative to this?

  • Galadrie,There IS a Alternative. They are raised on green lush pasture. Our calves are happy & content calves.

  • wonderful, thanks. where are you located? where does your milk go? (always looking for responsible and sustainable sources of milk and meat.)

  • no calf, no milk, lots of soya

  • why not put her in with the bull

  • Hi, Do not have a bull. They are dangerous and expensive to keep
