@therrydicule True, indeed, and the Group 44 TR8's of Bob Tullius, I believe, were some great cars, but it can't be denied the overall success of the various Porsche models in the 70s and 80s.
@mitchdfla Well, one would have to be blind to denied the success of the moby-dick, 917, 906, 907, 908, 909, 910 and co Porsche... The only Porsche not dominating a field, at that time, was the 804 in F1. I'm just saying that they were not Hercules, others were able to win against Porsche if only they were trying and had the resources ;)

@mitchdfla Hey, a Triumph TR8 in GTO did finish in 6th place, so the Porsche in GTX were not that far...
