  • Hey all the credit in the world to him he got under the bridge and didnt get stuck, Most of the dumbasses out there would have bounced the trailer and got stuck, It takes skill and patience to do that, In CDL School Now and they tell us NEVER GO UNDER A BRIDGE LOWER THAN 13'6 but I know one of theese Retards will do it and Guess what Theyll get stuck, THEN THEIR CDL will Be revoked.

  • Unbelievable, I would have NEVER attempted that...every OTR trailer I know is around 13'6, why there are still outdated ancient bridges that a bus can barely fit under is beyond me.

  • I think the scarest part of this is if you would have hit a hump right in the middle of that tunnel & get wedged right in the middle. That would have sucked.

  • Welcome to New York, where bridge clearance signs are never accurate.

  • In the state of NY they measure bridge heights not from the bottom but at truck axel height, so you add about a foot minimum to every bridge height sign in the entire state of NY.

  • You must be in the great state of NY.

  • yea its really scary in my opinion to drive a truck though bqe.... whats more scarier is 2 trucks driving parallel in the holland tunnel when it was open for commercial traffic.

  • yea its really scary in my opinion to drive a truck though bqe....

  • all bridges in NY are marked one foot lower than what they actually are.........

  • i kept waiting for the clearance to drop at the far end of the tunnel/bridge,lol.

    glad you made it thru.

  • Sorte que passou e não ficou encalhado

  • NO WAY!!!!! LOL ima trucker i know that had your heart pumping

  • lol i was waiting for a WHAM at the end

  • don't try this in new york if you see actual on side of height sign

  • I am not threatening to get you fired. It was simply a statement about a safety issue.

Yes, you are right that I should have looked into it more before commenting. That evening I had been in a heated discussion about wreckless driving and truckers who just don't give a damn about anyone or their safety. When I saw the vid I reacted before thinking and I apologize.

  • @MickeyGtheTrucker -- good to meet you, I got some nice videos of the Rockys and Wyoming coming back from Yellowstone, I dont drive OTR anymore and miss the beauty of traveling but dont miss livin in the truck. Look forward to you putting up some videos I saw that you said some were coming in the future, I will check them out

  • oh, does your company know you do this? most companies I know of would fire you on the spot.

  • @MickeyGtheTrucker -- read the other comments and learn before you talk shit-- I made a backup plan, AND leaving Brooklyn ALL the bridges are marked WRONG-- ALL SAY 12'3" so you HAVE TO GO UNDER ONE TO LEAVE, you would still be in Brooklyn and fired for not getting your load where it belongs. get me fired , maybe they can hire you, how many miles did you drive this week? I am betting under 2,000. read and find out WHY there marked as they are and learn and QUIT lecturing me, LEARN

  • Yep. Just goes to show with your wwf smack down talk that you are an over confident driver that thinks he is invincible. You go right ahead and keep doin what your doin super trucker.

  • And it is drivers like you sir that are screwing things up for the industry. You make the rest of us look bad with your wreckless behavior! Yet truckers wonder why thay have no respect from the public or the DOT! Let's see you go under a 12' 3" in the mid west. I garauntee you will no longer have your liscense!

  • @MickeyGtheTrucker -- I live in the midwest (Wisconsin) and there are plenty of fools like you talkin shit-- my advice STAY in the midwest because you could not drive in NY, you my freind think you know what your talkin bout but only bullshit comes out. If you knew what you were talkin about you would not have opened your mouth

  • gotta love new york and there poorly marked bridges

  • my only question is what happens if you dont fit, can you just reverse and not take the bridge, there is little choice, right?

  • @SSSDiaz7 -- I had a off duty police officer stop traffic while I attempted it so I could back out if needed. Every exit from Brooklyn had the same posting height- TOO LOW, good question

  • @SSSDiaz7 Part of how a bridge height is done is to prevent truck traffic Chicago has bridges that are marked 13ft and because of grinding and the way the street is pitched you can get under them slow

  • It was a glitch. The top of his truck just went thru the cieling like in GTA SA. If you had been on the road above the bridge you would have seen the top of the truck sticking out of the ground as it moved thru the tunnel.

    L2 Video game physics.

  • I think they just too stupid to measure truck right.

  • Who u foolin smartass? All bridges have a marginal.

Do that again in the winter with 1'' snow on the road... and i promiss u u wont do it again...

  • @galnasmeden 12 foot 3 inch bridge, 13 foot 6 inch truck that is ONE FOOT and 3 INCHES, Get a clue, THATS NOT MARGINAL, but there is a reason and its in the comments brainiac. The bridge did not say 13 foot 6 inches, then you would be right

  • @pizzasteve1262 LoL... If that marginal u talkin about is NO marginal i suggest u read my first post again. U say there is no marginal and still that 13foot 6 inch truck can go under that tiny 12foot inch bridge If the signs WAS RIGHT thats IMPOSSIBLE brainiac!!! ... Wow ur a mathematical genius...

Here is a fact to u tho...

All bridges have possitive marginals then what their signs say.

    I bet u dont know y...

BTW i've been drivin under lots of bridges whom say they r lower then my truck...

  • @galnasmeden

1 month ago New York City measures the clearance from the center of the wheel hub (which removes a foot to a foot and a half from the real clearance of the underpass) not from the ground to the bottom of the bridge.

Not so impossible calulating this way. Just wondering what kind of truck, it was my first time in Brooklyn. It was fun and nobody knew for sure if i would fit. I stopped traffic at the turn in to this bridge in case i needed to back out

  • @galnasmeden you mean a margin

  • wow your magic you made the bridge taller or your truck shorter

  • Same scenario on I-287E on the Brooklyn Bridge approach. Skeeered the crap outta me.

  • New York City measures the clearance from the center of the wheel hub (which removes a foot to a foot and a half from the real clearance of the underpass) not from the ground to the bottom of the bridge. No idea why they decided to do it that way but it sure did scare the hell out of me the 1st time I went into NYC.

  • only in NYC..

  • dammit driver!!! lmao

  • OMG!!!!!!!

  • what the!

  • i would have been freakin out lol
