Clearly, this History channel documentory on UFOs is passive disinformation geared twards intising the viewer into understanding that UFOs 'may' exist but then half way through the documentary they switch gears to begin "explaining" each or atleast most of the sightings as explainable and natural phenomena. This documentary is a bad source of UFOLOGY study.
I agree, the conclusions they make do not seem to stem from premises.
No one studied UFO more diligently then the Russians, so if they thought UFOs were natural phenomena would they have spent millions of rubles and over 11 years studying them? Also, a statistician would laugh at how the launch & army flares were explained as coincidental, as there NEVER was a precedent & no malfunction had occurred.
MUFON believes only 5% of sightings are unexplained. But they're worth studying nonetheless
