@Cl1ckHere01 he is doing that back trunk opening to trick the player & when i first played vs him he always tricks me at last laps by opening it which makes me shooting nitro in wrong time then he passes me at last seconds XD

Its weird for me, but the part at around 2.15, When i was behind the monstrous,it just suddenly nitroed and jumped onto the bridge road where he got stuck for a whole lap for me somehow, is it a bug? I did beat him anyway (used Angelus)

i've also encountered that glitch against him 2 times before .

as i remember it happens sometimes depending on your position behind him before the jump .

about using angelus ... it's very easy to beat him with it but if you tried for example his own car you'll see what will happens XD

anyway i've found out lately that monstrous can be defeated with 90% of the game's machines ... because there is a usual settings & techniques that should be used against him to be defeated ^_^

you probably would have had a much easier time if you had landed on the short track off that big jump... you even had enough speed to land it on the first lap. also, your nitrous is wasted big time while you're in the air. you'll get better times if you wait until you've landed before hitting the nitrous.

even monstrous is not using it to battle me honestly and you're actually wants to teach me on how to win in anyway without facing the opponent honestly ?

why don't you try same by yourself and see which thing got more skills facing the opponent by tricks & short cuts or normally ?

The computer always cheat with the special upgrades that the devolopers program into them to make the game more difficult. Without those special upgrades they wouldn't be so hard to defeat.

Actually, I already know Ridge Racer although Ridge Racer V was the only one I've played (which I haven't played that much because the game cd doesn't work). Its still kinda cool with the idea of racing here XD

Sorry about the lack of gradius updates... I just got the game "spore" and I've been playing it constantly... it's addicting... and I haven't beaten it yet... once I've dominated it... Ridge Racer games are Notorious for their abusive use of the "catchup system" for the AI driven cars, wich almost always puts the player at an disadvantage... Nice driving tho keep it up :)

The Monstrous Battle on Ridge Racer 6 (X360) made me almost throw my controller to the wall xD.

one of the best techiques for Rave City Riverfront is to use the bridge shortcut. its much easier to outdo any AI car on it
