Hi Matt, I don't know if you remember me, I posted the thread on PSB forum, the Pommey RG250 Resto.....I want to do a GT250B at some point, and that led me here! What you upto these days?
i am fixing to do a rebuild and restore to look like new but it is on a 10 year old Motocross bike i am picking up for $800 and will be much easier then yours
but i am thinking that after i get some exp with this one i want to pick up a 76 RD400 and restore it sense i had one in high school
Fantastic.......who gives a fuck if it smokes....millions of people smoke cigarettes everyday and no one says a thing....I say lets build more of these!
I wish it was as easy as it looks in your video to restore a bike. Great clip and I absolutely LOVE your expert!! I guess he fixed the plug with his teeth (if he has any...??) Thanks for a great moment!
I'm Working to earn some money to buy and restore one of those, maybe a 125cc, because here in Portugal is hard to find a 250cc, and they're a little bit more expensive, and paint it in tahiti orange...
I liked the video footage you made of the bike's restoration.
I had a 1976 Suzuki GT250 in 1976, I bought it from our Army Executive Officer who got rifted (ROTC officers were always first to go when the Army downsizes), nice bike but way under powered for the Interstate. Traded it for a 1974 Nissan 240Z......remember those?
Good thing you had the kid to help you, or you would never get it going. Although i am a Yamaha RD 2 stroke man, i like any 2 stroke bike, thanks for the video.
Hey I love watchin the 250 as much as the T-500 Titan. I like your style smokiematt1. And it nice to hear Steveie Ray playin away. I miss My GT-380 I wish I had some vids...keep up the good work smokiematt1!!!!!!!!!!!!
How do you get your bike up on that work bench to do your work? Nice work area you have and great job! Thanks for the video but would love to see more vids riding your GT500 and GT250s!!!

My office looks out on a main street and I check out every bike that goes by. I have a GT250 that I'm working on.
Horrible to see the trailing smoke, but the sound and feel is addictive.
