  • how do you find the tempo of the sample on recycle? could you make a tutorial on that please..

  • @ibcrazysumtimes You find the tempo in recycle by matching the bars of the loop where it asks for it.

  • how do you match your drums to the tempo of the sample?

  • @ibcrazysumtimes first lay down the sample so u can match the drums to it... or the other way around...

  • @DjDafader There is no set rule, it depends on you. I almost always program the sample groove first, because you want freedom doing that. Then build the drums around what the sample is doing. Drums mostly just need to sit in the groove, and accentuate it. Some tracks the drums ARE the groove, but it varies from song to song. Do what feels right.

  • @Godsuhn & @ibcrazysumtimes ofcourse, you are right. i always felt like, when u lay down the drums first u have to have an idea of how the samples are going to be layed down... in short: you are sort of restricted if u just start drummin before u know how ur samples are layed down... doing the samples First gives u more freedom to arrange the Swing or groove. ofcourse everybody has a different feel for it... so if u r really stuck try doing both and see which is coming out easier for u.

  • @ibcrazysumtimes you make a drum sequence first them incorporate the sample into the drums... you can you can chop a sample n make a sequence with it then add drums but its way harder to make a clean beat.
