It does look pretty good right? But one problem, no atmosphere. Google ANY pictures or video of earth in daylight and you will see the blue halo of our atmosphere. In this video and others of Shenzhou 7's "spacewalk" it's not there.

My thinking is it's a giant LCD panel (think Olympic ceremonies) and because the halo is faint to begin with, the cameras couldn't pick it up through the water.

yeah I read(and see!) about the blue halo and the clouds that travel 100s of kms in a few seconds. The mirrors also reflect those weird lights like you know.Its not so much in the reflection of the helmets but the mirrors on their arms that seem to so such great panoramic shots of earth, Ive paused a arm picture with half the blue earth and half the dark, and the arm mirror picks up the halo In the image they use of earth. NASA practices their spacewalks in water tanks so they can experience near weightlessness. I said near because the astronaut in combination with all the gear will sink in the water tank. To correct this they use water blowers on the bottom of the tank to create an upward flow of water to create a more "real" space environment.

This is why the paper flutters like it's caught in the wind, why the bubbles go in different directions at times and why the astronot won't let go.

It does not look like a shot captured in the water. I am a veteran diver and served in the UDT in the Korean navy for 12 years. Those objects are not bubbles. the explanation is rather simple.

1) there were some debris inside the capsule. if you have seen the full length of footage and views from multiple cameras, you won't be suprised.

2) the capsule was pressurized before opening the hatch. it takes time to completely release the last bit of air from the inside of the capsule. (btw, they cut out the footage when the taikonaut was trying to open the hatch, otherwise you would have seen the hatch was even somewhat hard to open due to the pressure difference.)

3) it's in the vacuum and there's no resistance. even a slight force can make an object go straight on for ever.

and, to me, the debris look like some aluminium foil used to protect some parts of the spacecraft from direct sunlight, just like those the Americans used on LEM(Lunar Excursion Module). if you have seen some documentaries on Apollo before you would know what I mean.

the aluminium foil reflects the sunlight as seen in this footage while the water bubble is more transparent looking. that's quite different.

btw, the temperature difference between the area under direct sunlight and the area in the shadow can be huge and may cause some distortion of the capsule.

and if the temperature inside the capsule gets too high, it would cost more electricity to cool it down to about room temperature for the taikonauts. and electricity is valuable that its usage should be well-planned while the aluminium foil is rather cheap and of little weight.

For those who need a bit of backgorund, some fools on the internet have been saying the Chinese spacewalk was faked under water because they claim to see "air bubbles", which are in reality merely waterdrops formed from condensation and they expand in space. Also, as you can clearly see, there was even a piece of paper flying out of the spacecraft at high speed. Try to get a piece of paper to do that under water, LOL. Some people have simpy lost their minds from jealousy and bigotry.

如果你看了我介绍出舱程序的录像的就不奇怪了。他的气压是逐渐减­低的。在airlock里面减压就会降温，气舱里如果有微量水气­在减压的时候就会凝结成水泡和冰块，跟冰箱的原理一样（不要忘了­外太空背向太阳的地方和面向太阳的地方有100度温差）在开舱后­，舱内的剩余气压就会把水珠和冰块吹出来。

由于太空中的正负温差，水珠在太空中受到太阳光的照射，面向太阳­的部分迅速升温气化，生成的气体推动尚未气化的水珠 所以一定会向远离太阳的方向飞动，也就是地球方向。
