  • Hey! I named my bird peaches to! (Before i saw this video)

  • i wanna know how long does a egg take to hatch can you plz tell me?

  • hi there , i have watched alot of your videos .. our one year old lovebirds have had their first clutch of four birds. the oldest is thirteen days old and and the youngest is ten days. realised yesterday that the baby had no food in its gullet and seems to bend his head back alot and seemed distressed , mixed some emp food up and tried to feed it that and today have fed it babyfood,do you think its because its the smallest its not getting fed or could it be someting else?

  • Oh there so adorible thats so heartwarming.

  • Omg they are SO CUTE! I am getting a cockatiel in about 2 months and I cant wait :))))

  • kiwi blends in with that pillow

  • They put a big smile on my face, both are so beautiful! I love birds and animals. :)

  • I have issues with bird breeders for one reason - They over-charge for their birds and they see them as money making machines. You're different.. Congratz. :)

  • @KickAssLyrics

I went to a pet shop today and some breeders happened to come in. They were really rude and didn't seem to care about the birds. Just making money and getting the next shipment ready. It was really sad. Not buying my Lovebird from there that's for sure.

  • @reezdog Yeah. I've seen that before. :( I've also met a few breeders who were going to charge me 140$ for a lovebird. Not hand-tamed, nor socialized at all. :l Not cool.

  • Hi, my bird layed an egg today and dosent sit on it , because the dad lovebird comes in and starts to like cuddle with her. what should i do? i really want the egg to hatch.plz help

  • My dad bought me a male lovebird back in 1997 when he was just under a year old and I was 8 years old at the time. I grew up with it and it died this year January. I miss him alot

  • DO YOU BREED THEM ?

  • peaches is all like MY ARMPIT! lol

  • awww there cute!

  • they are very cute and intersting we bought two lovebirds a year ago they dont like strangers so they bite us very often but we bought one of those cat balls and playing jacks that your little birides has and its the only time they dont bite us is when we are throwing the balls into the cage or when we are rolling them on the floor

  • IM GOING 2 GET A LOVEBIRD!! i cant wait!!!!!!

  • Aww, they are soo cute. I had a lovebird called Peaches too.He was so lovely and really gentle. He died last week.

  • aww! i was wondering if u could answer this question 4 me:

If bought 2 lovebirds that had been potty trained by their previous owner, would they still be potty trained 4 me or only for their previous owner?

  • my baby lovebird cant walk and it's 3 weeks old what do i have to do please help

  • They are very cute! I play this video for my 12-year old male and he goes nuts!

  • I have lovebirds :D

  • So cute! They went like "A WHOLE" -runs under the mans arm- Good night lovebirds <3

  • So Adorable! This makes me miss my 2 parakeets.

  • cuteeeeeeeee

  • we want to get a lovebird. we have had loads of budgies before and we most of them have been hand tame. are lovebirds a lot different to keeping budgies? do they have different needs to budgies? and also, do you know where i can get one? i do live in england so im not sure you would know.

  • @Cupcake1384 do searches on the internet to find a lovebird. Lovies are a lot different from budgies. Basically, budgies are small birds in small bodies where lovebirds are big birds in small bodies. You have to treat a lovie with the same respect as an amazon.

  • yeah, well we wanted to get a big bird but figured as we had never had one before, maybe we shouldnt get one until we had had something else smaller. we heard about lovebirds and they sounded perfect because they had big personality and needed a lot of attention but are smaller so its what we are used to. we know they require alot of dedication and we are prepared to out that in. also, how do you know if its a good lovebird to get? i mean, how do you know if its a good breeder?

  • well i can't help with how to find one but be aware that budgies and lovebirds are real enimies

  • @PichuABC I don't think you have a clue what your talking about because i have a budgie and i also have a lovebird now, and they are lovely :)

  • O_O random O_O

    what kind of love bird?

  • why is that random? you replyed to me saying budgies and lovebireds are enemies...

    anyway, i have a peach faced :)

  • do you breed for fun and alittle bit of money on the side or more so for a decent amount of money? how many pairs of lovebirds do you have for breeding?

I really love lovebirds a lot and wonder what it's like for you. I know I probably if I did wouldn't want to go full scale but maybe 2 sets maybe 3 for breeding but maybe people don't really do that though?

  • if you want to separate the baby birds from the parents how do u know when to do it?

  • I hope they went to good homes!

  • There's no hope about it. We are very picky about who our babies go to. :)

  • Glad to hear! Sweet babies...Lovebirds are such comedians!

  • AHHHHHH!!!!! Soooo cute!!!!!!!0_0

  • they are about the cutest things ive ever seen!!

  • cute

  • It's so cute! I'm speechless!

  • are u currently handfeeding these babies or are they still with the mom?.... i was asking this becaus i have a baby lovebird thats teh saem size as your birds and i was wondering if i could take him out off the moms nest and play with him then put him back ive held him before but not for a long time do you think the mom would harm him if he has human scent

  • omg i want one soooooooooo bad i had one but it got sick =[

  • such cute names peaches and kiwi. BAAAAAAAW! ^_^

  • Really cute! good to see peoples that care about the birds^^

  • It is great to see how much you care for your birds, as you should. I knew somebody who had many, many birds and raised them. And she had the bright idea to put a rabbit in one of her birds cages, the rabbit chewed the birds foot off! I was shocked at how unbelievably dumb she was to do such a thing! And her response was that she saw it in a cartoon and it worked out fine. Shocking and horrible! It was a poor little budgie, who lived, but was missing a foot the poor thing. I'm still horrified!

  • aw thats so cute

  • i like the smallest yellow one pipin was it?

  • its always better to hand raise a baby bird than it is to buy a full grown one in the store

  • Not always. Some of the sweetest birds I ever own were adults who appreciated being rescued.

    ~Rodney

  • THEY ARE SO CUTE!!! was it hard to hand-raise them?

  • It is always hard work.

  • aww its like having kids lol cute

  • you guys are great breeders, were jsut about to by one, i wish i was buying one from you. yours are so cute and calm and friendly and social.

  • Such darling !!! ^________________^

  • they r so cute

  • you your husband go great together!

  • They are so cute. Yay active babies xD

  • I guess they can't fly yet. How long does it take them to start doing it?

  • When i was little my family bred parakeets and sold parrots, we had a pet shop and I spent my days in the summer training the parrots to talk and play, it was really, really, great. I had a little lovebird called Sparky. He was strange in that he just wouldn't have a female around, so we got him one of those weighted plastic budgies that sits on a perch and he decided it was his mate. He loved it. You have wonderful birds and are clearly fantastic breeders. I am in awe!

  • WHAAA! you touched the poop. I use a stain cleaner my bird is so smart she always does the " I love your shirt!" then poop!! LOL!

  • he said it soo warm lmao wow

  • Aww I lovw baby birds. We used to raise all sorts of parakeets. They're so warm and snuggly at that age!

  • why are they looking for a hole?

  • To go nite-nite. They sleep in a tent.

    ~Rodney

  • lol hes eating them

  • THey are so cute !

I love birds very much more than anything!

  • My male lovebird is named Kiwi. He looks a lot like BeBe. He is 17 years old and I have had him since he was 4 weeks old. He is definitely the light of my life.

  • 17! Awesome!

  • I got him in September 1991 as a 4 week old baby. I finished hand feeding him myself and he's been with me ever since.

  • Aaaaaw.

    They are little cuties.

I had a bird, too but he pass way since 2 years.

Lovebirds are hard to come by in this area. I live in Kansas City area. There are so many people on here that have them but I guess they are not available in this area. They are so cute and I love the noise that they make! Thanks for sharing your video. I am waiting to hear back from someone so wish me luck!!

  • i mean can u convence my mom

  • You can tame a pair and have them both very friendly, but if you want a cuddly bird, then one because it will see you as their mate.

  • wat happens wen u hold them do the parents still feed dem or u have to hand feed them cuz i got sum like that age

  • can u convence that ur saposed to get 1 lovebird if u want it to be closer to u and if u get 2 than the will bond to eachother

  • hey is peaches a boy or a girl??

  • Peaches turned out to be a girl!

  • oh, thanks.. yea i just got a new bird the same kind and it wasnt old enough for us to know if it was a boy or girl. so we r still tryin to figure that out lol

  • what do you do so you could tell wich baby lovebird is wich and how old is it. please help my love bird just layed eggs.

  • There are subtle differences in color and stuff, but when they are small and it is hard, usually we can tell by weight. I have a pretty new video showing the development of baby lovebirds (look up "Growth Progression of a Lovebird").

  • so cute.. ^^

  • cuuuuuuuuteeeeee<333333

  • mr money ill pray for your little budgie ewith cancer =]

  • btw, ive never figured out whether my lovebird is a boy or girl.. poor thing haha... ive always tried to find out but was told you need surgery to tell with this type of bird? i wasnt about to go that far. So since he/she is very bright in color, i always assumed male. Any ideas? thankss

  • take it to a bird store or the vet..

they can do a blood test for u and find out

  • thats so cute.. um i just got a new lovebird so i hav to now. nd i just want to know.. how long do u think i should wait. tell i want them to hav babys. i only had the new one for like 18hrs now.. so wat do u think... can sumone get back at me plz... o nd one thing wat do it mean wen he is all over the other birds back?

  • Omg they are soooo cute!!

  • Birds are cool!

  • They are the most adorable little birdies i've ever seen! So cute! =)

  • where is there real dad at nd mom?? nd i think my girl love bird goin to have babys how long dose it take tell they come out...

  • There real mom and dad are with us, but we pull the babies at 14 days to handfeed ourselves. The incubation period for lovebird eggs is 23 days.

  • so do i have to pull them way for there mom nd dad to? r can there mom nd dad do it them self? nd do i need to put the dad alone in his own lil bird house

  • Leave the parents together. Both will feed the babies until you want to. We only pull the babies out because it helps in the taming process.

  • so i should just let the mom and dad take car of them.... now do u know how eggs she will lay nnd how many will live?

  • You are just going to have to wait and see. They'll lay eggs 2 days apart. There is a way to "candle" them, but we just always wait the full incubation period of 23 days +2-3 days to make sure they aren't fertile anyways.

  • ok then thanks... how did urs have

  • i want one

  • check out our blog to see our current babies (link in my profile on my channel)!

  • I was wondering how hard it is to let them go when you find a buyer for them. Often I have thought of breeding birds and don't know if I could sell them in the end. It is really hard to say goodbye to these sweet little souls.

  • Sometimes it is hard. Other times, I am happy for the baby who is going to a great home. I've probably only cried once for one baby who left and that's because it looked like my baby who passed away.

  • stargazrt4 - I have wathed several of your clips, you indeed have darling birds. Can you tell me where you purchased your window perch? The one with the suction cups and beads in it. Thanks

  • We replied to your comment on the other video! Thanks for asking! We love them!

  • me he chirps when he doesent see me

i can bring him outside and he wont try to fly away (clipped wings) i was just wondering if its bad that he is so attached and hates his cage

  • simply adorable babies.

  • They are so adorable! =)

  • hey everybody i know this has nothing to do with this video but how do you record a video and put it on youtube? i m really bad at this stuff

  • You need to record on a device that allows you to connect via USB or that you can remove the card from (and insert into a port connected to a computer). Then, you take the video off the device and save it to a place that you know where it is on your comp. Lastly, you go to the Upload video feature and enter the video info and then browse for the video on your comp the next page. Hope that helps a little!

  • um is it hard to clean there poop beacaus im 10 years old and my floor is made of carpet

  • never mind you told me in a different video it was handfeeding 4 baby lovebirds

  • so sweeeeet!

  • i really want a small bird. up until i saw this video, i thought a parakeet was a better choice. can you answer these questions? they may help my descision:

    1. which are quieter (lovebirds or parakeets)

    2. which like to cuddle more (lovebirds or parakeets)

    3. can lovebirds learn as many tricks as parakeets can?

    4. which are funner to handle?

  • 1. Well, it's hard to say which one is quieter. When we had BeBe by himself, he was extremely quiet. We have two parakeets now and they are not louder than lovebirds, but they have a different chatter. They make noise about the same amount each day as our lovies.

  • 2. Our lovies like to cuddle, get head rubs, and give kisses way more than our parakeets do! So I would have to say, based on our experiences, lovebirds are more cuddly. (At least the ones we breed!)

  • 3. I think lovebirds can learn as many tricks, but the tricks are different. Check out my favorite videos on my channel. There are two videos of someone else's lovebird doing a TON of tricks! We just haven't gotten around to showing off our BeBe's tricks yet. Now, if you want a "talker" parakeets are the way to go. Not very many lovebirds talk.

  • 4. I think lovebirds are way more fun to handle, mainly because ours want to be handled more than our parakeets. However, our new parakeet, Hedwig, will step up on most occasions, she just doesn't hang around on my hand/shoulder/shirt as long as my lovies do.

  • All in all, you really need to be picky on where/who you get your parakeet/lovebird from. Petsmart, for example, may not be a good place to get a tame, well-socialized bird.

  • oooo thanks for that tip! i was considering petsmart :D

  • yeahh i saw on a diff video that they enjoy clinging to clothes :D. but, do love birds step up when asked (of course after being trained?)

  • Ours do pretty much always! If they don't want to they may not on occasion, for example, when in play mode.

  • Check out our website (link on our channel!) for more info on lovebirds!

  • oh. okayy thanks soooo much for your help. i'll have to think this decision over, but you really helped me with some lingering questions :)

  • You are very welcome! Feel free to email us any time here at YouTube or at the email address on our website!

  • That's one thing we really work on in our babies. We want them to be stepping up when they got to their homes!

  • Awwe it just like dashed at my face haha very cute babies

  • WHoa my lovebird's name is Peaches too!

  • Awesome name!

  • Lovely yes indeed!!

  • Peaches' new name is Gizmo!
