  • No hay nada mas hermoso que ver a una orquesta tocar en vivo te hace llorar... sobre todo piezas tan hermosas como esta

  • This piece of music just makes me forgive all of the people who pressed

the dislike button on all good bits of music. Spread the love.

  • This is one "dizzy" video. =p

  • úplne dokonalá hudba... čajkovskij bol génius...podarilo sa mu cez hudbu zachytiť "nekonečno"....

  • It's beautiful, but to say that modern music can't move you.. Well I hope I don't cross anyone by saying, your missing out. Music which will move you beyond what words can describe, is still created today.

  • thank god for youtube

  • Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky Russian genius

This tune has won the hearts of all girls

  • I have something joint aching.

  • This is still one of my favorite pieces of music ever written. I never get tired of listening to it.

  • Thumbs up if Marshall Erikson and cookie dough brought you here

  • God, just dancing to this with a male partner would make any girl fall in love.

  • Sheer awesomeness.

  • I'd like to meet the 9 people that disliked this video. In person. I hope they are all locked away in some mental institution.

  • This melody cries softly at first and plead for a lover to listen.. then the melody gets louder and more emotional asking for a connection and then spins into a final spiral away from the love to another plane spinning and eluding far away forever

  • This is one of my most loved songs, brings me to tears xxxx

  • This piece of music will always make me cry. Every time.

  • Can never get enough of this. I praise Jesus Christ for His Great act of love...for me. He died, for me. He didn't deserve my punishment but He took it, in my place! I love Him so much!!! I love that I can express my love for Him in this music! God's glorious creation, enabling geniuses to make this music!

  • So powerful, emotions are over the top

    Just incredible piece of music

  • this piece of music evokes memeories of childhood and my dearest dad who i lost recently, tearjerker.

  • What is the official name or number of this score? There's several pas de deux's in The Nutcracker

  • @joltzkrieg I don't recall several pas de deux's in the nutcracker. It's possible for other dances to be performed by only two people but this is the actual 'pas de deux'. It's 'name' is either the 'Pas de deux' or the name derived from it's tempo: 'Andante Maestoso'

  • One of the most beautiful pieces of music...ever.

  • This is real music that brings tears to your eyes and moves your heart and soul. This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • 'nuff said

  • No comments on the Feelings this piece can provoke without even a single word! Amazing!

  • I love how much the conductor smiles.

  • 9 people had their nuts cracked

  • when i was a little kid, i listened to this song for the first time on a cartoon film. i loved the songs and i even cried. ME! and i rarely cry (my sister is the crybaby :) ) This just shows how a song can affect a person.

  • a little fast

  • Magnifica esecuzione!

  • Tchaikovsky your amazing! No wonder why i love ballet, the music is the inspiration!

  • gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!!<3

  • People wonder why I love Tchaikovsky. Then I play this piece for them. Mystery solved.

  • OK... IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR A HUMAN TO WRITE THE NOTES FOR THIS SONG..

My theory: An angel must've misplaced the music sheet while searching for inspirations amongst earthly inhabitants.... the one fellow who found it made that angel cry ... WHICH IS WHAT I JUST HEARD THERE... AMAZING!!!!

  • @Jekahog HAHAHAHA my thoughts exactly lmao

  • @Jekahog... this piece of music bring tears to my eyes and chills running down my spine everytime i hear it..just utter brilliance...Tchaikovsky

  • cry my heart out every time i hear this also.

  • It always makes me cry._.

  • i cried when i heard this one...

  • Classical music is so intellectual, STRONG yet peaceful, and is full of emotion and passion. It tells a story. Why can't we have music like anymore?

  • @nibargerswife51482

because within the capitalism demand creates supply.

  • @nibargerswife51482 Well we can! And we have! Soundtracks are the modern age classical.

  • @nibargerswife51482 Oh, don't worry, we do, you're just making generalizations.

  • wow beautiful ........ so proud being russian

  • This tune became the 1950s pop tune "here" as introduced by Tony Martin. Opening lyrics go, "Here, in this enchanted place. Here, enclosed in your embrace." There are several other pop songs borrowed by Pete T.

  • Como adoro esta pieza :D

    Es hermosa .!!!

  • it's so so so wonderful.

  • One of my ballet teachers walked down the aisle to this at her wedding... and I will too :)

  • This is russian culture.

  • @dimaifp well said.

  • We are playing this in orchestra this year. It's so beautiful, I'm glad we are.

  • lovely ^^

  • Beautiful music, but I feel his interpretation is a tad fast --- especially too fast for the Balanchine choreography.

  • Esta música es hermosa. Se enriquece el alma.

  • explendido, maravilloso, genio, only tchaikovsky

  • Un peu de rêve pour ce vendredi soir

  • some people are far too dramatic..but this is AMAZING :')))

  • This music never fails to bring me to tears.. So incredibly beautiful! :'-D

  • Tschaikowsky ist mein Held! Wunderschön!!!

  • Brings back memories of dancing the Paxsde Deux...brings tears to my eyes

  • Love is music. And this piece of music is pure love. Romantically, passionately, sweetly, wholeheartedly love.

  • Conductor* not composer.

  • @Silver9Stones9 You were right the first time; the composer did an excellent job :)

  • I love this song! It always makes me cry when I listen to it. :,) and the composer did an excellent job! When you listen to this song, never see it as a Christmas song but a song that can give you a mix of emotions at the same time. Pas de deux is so beautiful, I always listen to it every night.

  • my favorite piece of classical music...hands down. i like this video especially because i like how happy the conductor is :)

  • So beautiful, truly a work of art.

  • What kind of a cretin would dislike this?

  • Me fascina.... me enamoró siendo una cría... y aún sigo cautivada

  • *claps* fantastic!

  • I saw the ballet "The nutcracker"...I first thot it will be boring cause I do't really like the ballet..but dam when I saw it...it really amazed me...and the part with this music made me cry at the end...this was LOVE ITSELF

  • Hermoso

  • Esta obra es maravillosa, me encanta, es magica. =)

  • It makes me miss my days of Ballet dancing, and my hopes of dancing to this song in front of an audience \.

  • Wonderful. Well, I'm an amateur composer, and I admire Tchaikovsky. I'm composing a ballet, see my Pas de Deux and Waltz on my channel.

    buen gusto! ^^

  • Absolutely breathtaking. It's amazing how one human can create such beautiful music. And I know everyone here mostly agrees that today's music is terrible. But we all know that. It's terrible and profane. That's why whenever I get home and sit down at the computer, I listen to Tchaikovsky. Or sometimes Bach. Or Vivaldi when I feel like it. And we despise other music because we see it as terrible. Also, for anyone who disliked the song, don't watch it if you don't like it.

  • Fantastically written, Tchaikovsky I love love love you, you were a genius :)

  • SHIT HOT. KICKS SEVEN SHADES OF THE STUFF OUT OF TODAYS RAP,SHAT SAMPLE, TINY TALENT NOTHINGNESSSSS

  • this is simply amazing.

  • simplemente hermoso, majestuosos esta musica existira por SIEMPRE!!!!!

  • AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING !!!!!!!!

  • The most beautiful G Major scale ever written.

  • velikolepno !! great !

  • Who the hell were those 8 ppl who pressed dislike button?!

  • @NATIKO91 People that don't have respect for culture or real music.

  • This peace is so beautiful. I like to listen to music while doing my homework but I find it hard to concentrate on my work while this is on because it is so breathtaking that I just want to close my eyes and relish in its magnificence :)

  • I am a classical musician and a classical music enthusiast. I attend many symphony concerts and perform in an orchestra myself. I have heard a lot of classical music and listen to it often, but I have never heard a single song that is even worthy of comparing to the beauty of this piece. Absolutely remarkable.

  • I am a classical musician and a classical music enthusiast. I attnd

  • i can't delay tears from eyes when i listen this music-i was 6 when i saw ballet Nutcracker and.......i can't live without my life,i can't live without my soul.......

  • @Lile79Nia Oh that's so beautiful! That's the most beautiful comment I've ever read about Tchaikovsky in the whole of my life! I was 6 also when my father played me a piece of Tchaikovsky's music on the gramophone, and told me a story about it, and that piece took hold of my soul and has never let it go since. It was the Rose Adagio from Sleeping Beauty. I can't delay tears from my eyes either, Lile79Nia...

  • @MichaelDPorter thank you :)

  • @Lile79Nia . i felt the same way the minute i heard it. it is tied with the swan lake finale for me. i have about 100 pieces tied for first place in my heart, including these two.

  • @JSBach5000 very nice :)

  • Great composer and inspiring music. From the heart to the heart!

  • this is as good as green grass in Arrakis. It makes me give water to the compositor, and the musics.

  • Oh my god this is Beautiful in all the sense of the word :')

  • where can i get the mp3? :(

    me wantz. :(

  • @ReferredPain Go to Download.com and download 'Free YouTube to MP3 Converter 3.9.35' and follow the prompts. I just did and am having a GREAT time playing with it. Be sure to set the 'Presets' to '320 bitrate'. Have fun!!

  • beautiful

  • I've gotta stop playing violin since my hearing getting damaged for some reason but this is one of the reasons I can't stop listening to music :)

  • Such a simple melody....and Tchaikovsky made it so gorgeous. He admired Mozart's mixture of simplicity and depth and I'm sure Mozart would have been proud.

  • Very beautiful song. Tchaikovsky is by far my favorite composer and will always remain. What was the man thinking!

  • jedes Mal wenn ich den Anfang von diesem Lied höre krieg ich Gänsehaut, einfach nur schön wie Musik verzaubern kann.

  • How can ANYONE dislike this??

  • @theladyandthedude Maybe they noticed how the video is out of sync with the audio, and it made them uncomfortable - enough for some to click dislike. If you just listen, then it's of course just awesome, I love this tune, but the video is out of sync... instead of clicking dislike I just look away and shiver.

  • I cry every time I hear this piece...

    Tchaikovsky is my boyfriend.

  • Gosh..this piece is so beautiful it brings me to tears every time I hear it! I used to be a ballerina in the nutcracker and I had to quit because of family issues.. but every time I hear this song I'm sad not because I miss the dancing but because I miss the music :'/

  • I have this song on my i-pod and i play it over and over! i can never get enough of Tchaikovsky and all of his beautiful songs. <3 and i have to admit, i even conduct in the backseat) i'm 14 and i don't listen to that rap shit! i listen to this because its just plain amazing. <3

  • so perfect !

  • He escuchado aqui en Youtube la interpretacion de esta melodia, unas orquestas la tocan muy rapido, otras con un sonido opaco o regular. Para mi, esta Orquesta es una de las mejores o diria que es la mejor ......

Melody is beautiful, I think that Tachaikovsky was a genius...........I love it for example this one and too andante cantabille.

  • The 16th notes around 3:30 make me astounded every time! Wow.

  • just like metal makes me head bang

    this makes me dance

  • @doctorpapaya The "Suite", op71a, were eight pieces selected by Tchaikovsky himself. It's a pity he didn't include the GPDD adagio, but rumor has it that he wrote this on a bet that he couldn't base an adagio on a simple scale. This descending scale piece worked magnificently, but you can understand why PIT didn't consider it his best work in the ballet. ;)

  • This piece rips my heart out.

  • This has GOT to be one of the most beautiful songs in existence!!!

  • goosebumps galore!!!!

  • Magnificent song. I love it to bits. Tchaikovsky is a genius composer and this ballet is amazing!

  • exciting music mistiruse and then so dramatic to the top that you want to sing or to dance !

  • Best classical piece. Ever.

  • Omg I love this! It's my favorite part in the ballet.

  • they play it beautifully but they are rushing way toooooo much, how can you experience the beauty when you're going at 100mph?

  • 7 people can not play the cello part

  • You will not get much better than this Performance The Moscow Symphony Orchestra are among the worlds best Orchestras. Not surprising. Its compulsory for every person in secondary school to study modern classics and classical music. Lucky them. CGSNI

  • bellisimo...(L)

  • too fast

try listening to the slower version

    its magical

  • JUST BEAUTIFUL. were playing this in our spring concert. IM IN LOVE WITH IT.

  • @fantagejuilet Arty & Moscow Symp does a great job here.

  • @Glinkaism1 Yes, ahh i feeling like dancing...but ive givin up :/

  • @Glinkaism1 This version is quite like the one I have of The London Symphony with Hollingsworth. The Pas de Deux was the basis for a popular song in the 1950 called "Here." It was sung by Tony Martin. Lyrics by Dorcas Cochran. Song attributed to a "Howard Grant." I don't think these folks every thanked or acknowledged Pete, however.

  • @1234scottd one day, instead of watching from the wings, you'll be on stage showing the world your talent :)

  • I listen to AC/DC, 30 seconds to mars, Thousand Foot Krutch, Linkin Park and Muse

i wld pick this any day :)

  • Magnífico!!!!

  • Is this the same song they played in Swan Lake?

  • Timpani FTW

  • This is my favorite!!!!!

  • It brought me to tears listening to it. It's so beautiful. It's amazing how something like music can deeply affect the emotions. Amazing piece and orchestra. I hope to see it live one day.

  • Hey LondonOBrien, you are not alone in being a fan of heavy metal and classical music. I still think early Megadeth reminds me of my idol, JSBACH.

  • This piece is just beautiful! people should take the time, once in a while, to take a break from the present-day music we have and just listen to this and appreciate the beauty of all the instruments involved in this instead of they way they are now used.
