It's beautiful, but to say that modern music can't move you.. Well I hope I don't cross anyone by saying, your missing out. Music which will move you beyond what words can describe, is still created today.
This melody cries softly at first and plead for a lover to listen.. then the melody gets louder and more emotional asking for a connection and then spins into a final spiral away from the love to another plane spinning and eluding far away forever
Can never get enough of this. I praise Jesus Christ for His Great act of love...for me. He died, for me. He didn't deserve my punishment but He took it, in my place! I love Him so much!!! I love that I can express my love for Him in this music! God's glorious creation, enabling geniuses to make this music!
i think inspite all that beautiful music presented today and before,THAT this is the most beautiful song ever written! because it's just magnificant! listen to this amazing melody reaching thru your heart and soul! the violins and everything! it creates interpeace!the amazing orchestra! no words just something that will make u wonder wtf happened today with all music? electro, dance wtf? it's not bad..but uncomparable to this!
The is music and then there is something like this where you feel you have been touch by something out of this world. For those 9 dislikes, please check your pulse you might be dead and don't know it.
@joltzkrieg I don't recall several pas de deux's in the nutcracker. It's possible for other dances to be performed by only two people but this is the actual 'pas de deux'. It's 'name' is either the 'Pas de deux' or the name derived from it's tempo: 'Andante Maestoso'
when i was a little kid, i listened to this song for the first time on a cartoon film. i loved the songs and i even cried. ME! and i rarely cry (my sister is the crybaby :) ) This just shows how a song can affect a person.
OK... IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR A HUMAN TO WRITE THE NOTES FOR THIS SONG..
My theory: An angel must've misplaced the music sheet while searching for inspirations amongst earthly inhabitants.... the one fellow who found it made that angel cry ... WHICH IS WHAT I JUST HEARD THERE... AMAZING!!!!
This tune became the 1950s pop tune "here" as introduced by Tony Martin. Opening lyrics go, "Here, in this enchanted place. Here, enclosed in your embrace." There are several other pop songs borrowed by Pete T.
One day while I was listening to this song near the middle of it I felt like someone I knew and loved was gone. Like they were no longer part of the world. Less then an hour after hearing this song it turned out my feelings were for a reason. I miss you. I wish I had been a better person to you and had been there for you more than i was.

tienes razón, esta música si que tiene más valor que otra cualquiera, y el que no sepa apreciarla como es debido, es que no se siente bien consigo mismo realmente.
Absolutely breathtaking. It's amazing how one human can create such beautiful music. And I know everyone here mostly agrees that today's music is terrible. But we all know that. It's terrible and profane. That's why whenever I get home and sit down at the computer, I listen to Tchaikovsky. Or sometimes Bach. Or Vivaldi when I feel like it. And we despise other music because we see it as terrible. Also, for anyone who disliked the song, don't watch it if you don't like it.
This peace is so beautiful. I like to listen to music while doing my homework but I find it hard to concentrate on my work while this is on because it is so breathtaking that I just want to close my eyes and relish in its magnificence :)
I am a classical musician and a classical music enthusiast. I attend many symphony concerts and perform in an orchestra myself. i can't delay tears from eyes when i listen this music-i was 6 when i saw ballet Nutcracker and.......i can't live without my life,i can't live without my soul.......
@Lile79Nia Oh that's so beautiful! That's the most beautiful comment I've ever read about Tchaikovsky in the whole of my life! I was 6 also when my father played me a piece of Tchaikovsky's music on the gramophone, and told me a story about it, and that piece took hold of my soul and has never let it go since. It was the Rose Adagio from Sleeping Beauty. I can't delay tears from my eyes either, Lile79Nia...
@Lile79Nia . i felt the same way the minute i heard it. it is tied with the swan lake finale for me. i have about 100 pieces tied for first place in my heart, including these two.

i know im only 12 but i do love this song. i am a ballet dancer in the nutcracker and ill always be in the wings watching this dance and then get ready for the clown act [:
It brought me to tears listening to it. It's so beautiful. It's amazing how something like music can deeply affect the emotions. Amazing piece and orchestra. I hope to see it live one day.
This piece is just beautiful! people should take the time, once in a while, to take a break from the present-day music we have and just listen to this and appreciate the beauty of all the instruments involved in this instead of they way they are now used.
No hay nada mas hermoso que ver a una orquesta tocar en vivo te hace llorar... sobre todo piezas tan hermosas como esta

It brought me to tears listening to it. It's so beautiful. It's amazing how something like music can deeply affect the emotions. Amazing piece and orchestra. I hope to see it live one day.

Hey LondonOBrien, you are not alone in being a fan of heavy metal and classical music. I still think early Megadeth reminds me of my idol, JSBACH.

This piece is just beautiful! people should take the time, once in a while, to take a break from the present-day music we have and just listen to this and appreciate the beauty of all the instruments involved in this instead of they way they are now used.
