Anybody who is a real RHCP fan would appreciate what Josh brings to the table instead of rag him for "not being John." Newsflash: he isn't trying to be John. There are some similarities, but overall they're completely different guitarists. They each do things better than the other.

If you take look on youtube you'll see a lot of RHCP fans discussing who was better guitarist: John Frusciante or Dave Navarro (John surely is most preferred), but this doesn't means that a fan who prefers Navarro's is not a RHCP fan, is just a point of view... I believe Dave would bring something better than Josh to the band if he came back again... but hey, I'm still a fan...
