Yeah they had no reason to storm the court after this game I mean its not like beating the number one team in the country is exciting or anything. Throw in the fact that we did not know if we would make the NCAA or not at that point yeah we had no reason to be excited after this one. And by the way elite is something that wiconsin will never be considered.

wisconsin was ranked #1 in the AP poll at this time and 2nd in the espn poll. this spartan team was supposed to be rebuilding and it was a big win for them.

for starters, wisconsin was ranked #1 in '07 when MSU beat them in east lansing.

also, MSU DID make the NCAA last year, they lost to UNC in the second round.

Why don't you do some research and check out when the last time the spartans didn't make the tourney. it'll provide you with an education about a program that was recently called the best in college basketball over the past decade. congrats to izzo for his 300th spartan victory yesterday.

Sparty slappys are so dam funny! havent won the conferencce since 2001.Keep beating the 4 final four appearances into the ground.Althogh with the exception of 2005 the other 3 were 7 , 8 and 9 years ago.Again Sparty will be lucky to survive even the 1st round.Elite Program?
