Secret Commando (Rambo) on Sega Master System retro games console

Looks a good game, but compared to 'Commando' on the Speccy and C64, it seems a lot slower. Nice graphics though!

Awesome game! Used to play this over and over, had one of the better end sequences, with helicopter shots and guard towers... rather than just rolling credits like most games

@LJZeb21 Cool. I've never seen that far... actually, I haven't played the game since recording this video 2 years ago, but it's good to know it has a decent ending. I'll come back to it one day :)

Yeah, I don't really get the "Secret Command/Commando" title. It says Secret Command on the box, and then Secret Commando on the game itself... when the game is available as Rambo.

I can only guess there were lisensing issues at the time, and miscommunication with whoever made the packaging.

oh you missed a trick - the two built in games were Road Rash, a motercycle game - bog standard racing to beat the clock, and Duck Hunt - pointing a gun at the screen and picking off wildlife. i cheated at Duck Hunt by pressing the gun to the screen and annihalating thousands of innocent ducks, squirrals and i can't remember what else, getting past the top level. nothing spectacular happened.

I know about the built in duck hunt game. Unfortunately, I don't have the light gun to play it. Also, I'm not entirely sure if one would work with my LCD HD TV.

I guess if I stumble across one selling stupidly cheap on ebay, I'll find out :)

I don't have a list, I'm afraid. To be honest, I don't even know what games I have for a few of my systems, as a lot came as bundles.

As it is though, I'll be uploading videos for all of them, over time... just doing the quicker (cartridge based) ones first. All those Spectrum and Electron tape based games are gonna take a while.

yeah! Master System! i had one of those! the first game i played was 'Ghouls 'n' Ghosts', on Christmas Day 1991... anyhoo, it just goes to show you don't need anything more than eight bits.... well, you do, but we did alright at the time. eee, when i was a lad... (i'm 26 now)

Hehe... yup. Though believe it or not, I never had a master system.. only got this one a week ago. When I was a kid I was playing Atari games, and had an Acorn Electron when the MS was out. (I'm 39) :D
