doesn anyone know what program he is using? the programming language is LISP but i dont understand how the program returns the results after he puts a command.
He's using a version of emacs text editor that is running the stk interpreter in one buffer and he's editing in the other. If you're going to do the stuff in the SICP book it would be well worth your time to sit down and run through the emacs tutorial. i've had good luck with mit-scheme and emacs under ubuntu FYI
