  • Which book does he refer to in Lec 1 as the best one written for computer science..?

  • You can find lectures 5, 6, and 7 in realvideo and mp3 formats via Google search for "webcast cs61a spring 2008"

  • I lost respect for this University for using private service for their own student. Do they want to keep the knowledge for their own students.

  • 36 missing to

  • How is it possible to access the private Lectures #5, 6, 7?

  • Yeah, lets see the missing lectures!

  • Me too.

to bad; 7 is private, and 5 and 6 are missing.

doesn anyone know what program he is using? the programming language is LISP but i dont understand how the program returns the results after he puts a command.

    (im a newb.)

  • He's using a version of emacs text editor that is running the stk interpreter in one buffer and he's editing in the other. If you're going to do the stuff in the SICP book it would be well worth your time to sit down and run through the emacs tutorial. i've had good luck with mit-scheme and emacs under ubuntu FYI

  • would like to see lectures 5,6, and 7
