is any one forgetting that she is speaking a sierra leonean language, and those language include susu, fullah, madingo etc so plzz jus praise the LORD for praising in any tunges does not matter as long as we are praising GOD.Christ died for the whole world and not just for the jews.get it.
Me na salone titi, n Krio for dat mata. So u nor go tel me say na Krio da wan dae. That's what am talking about.. You can check out Vicky Fornah in 'Dis wol n Me Fren'. Dat na krio not pidgen. I think she is a good singer, but i still think she needs to sing more in krio and leave pidgen for the nigerians.
I know God is God. I believe in God too. But common, almost every salone Gospel is in pidgon. Have you ever seen any Nigerian artist singing in Krio instead of Pidgen or their local languages?
Well i was only commenting on this particular album. If that is what they do in other albums, then i av problem with that. What is wrong in singing in mende or temne?i will love to buy a temne gospel album. Thanks for your reply,i appreciate it.
Nigerians and Ghanaians they are like that.Any black person that is doing good in these world he come from there countries.Even me they saying i am a Nigerian.I just keep quit thats there problem.
Whoa, there is a whole lot here. The descriptors say these are Sierra-Leoneans; indeed they sing sometimes in S-L pidgin. Some of their dresses are Yoruba, but many remind a Nigerian also of people from Edo, Urhobo, Itsekiri and the Niger Delta as a whole. And the lead singer Millicent Rhodes sings also in Igbo. Now could someone tell us where we are? Are they really Sierra-Leoneans and so much of Nigerian culture has survived so well there? Or is Rhodes a Nigerian? Is this a Nigerian act?
I just checked: they are Sierra Leoneans. There is a portion that shows the country's telephone code, 232, as is listed for "Sa'Ro", as we affectionately call SL and Sierra Leoneans in some parts of Nigeria.
