I think either way its okay. It only makes the game easier and spend less time mining and geting resorces. You spawn the items, but they don't spawn in as statues of chuck noris. Remember that when you question mods.

I believe you should be able to use to many items if you want to construct major things such as statues, towers and you have a rare material you want to put in to improve the look of the structure I would love to see it. I think all things with more creeps and weirdos should be legit though.
