Man...this is so sad..I LOVED this show..the music, the story, each girl's life story and background and how they bond..crazy how good japanese animes are..but they take the time to make good music and create good stories for them...not like the cartoons Nickelodeon and Cartoon network put out, except Avatar the last airbender...that's pretty much the best US anime ive seen

I'm an original Japanese purist of Sailor Moon. However, as much as I hated a lot of what the DiC English dub did, this scene has always stood out as actually BETTER than the original. The original song that played (Makoto's R season image song) was nice, but this was much more dynamic and it was in English so it had much more impact. The only thing is lyrics-wise, it doesn't really do much - it emphasizes a character (Ken) who never appears again and it's about the rain in that scene only.
