The allure of being a hater is hard for some to resist. I tried it once and found that a single hateful comment gets several comments within MINUTES whereas positive ones.....maybe never.
What your trying to say here is right....I read your whole description and it is true....people use put-downs in order to build up their own self confidence...one of the worst ways you can do that.....check out my 10 second exposure response if you want....:)
