and I love the fact that they always make their own songs for parodies which sound exactly like the style of a group/singer they're spoofing...like the abba song and then when they spoofed madonna's hung up they remixed it with their c'est la vie song!! SO FUNNY!!! xD
ahhh! love em! i like "c'est la vie" much more than any other abba song! and sonny and cher! that bit where dawn claps and jen sways her hair! that is exactly what sonny and cher do in all there video clips! nice job! thanx for putting it all together!
i always almost piss myself when jen wears that balding wig when doing the cher bit! oh lord god. it's all so funny! i love jen and dawn. how are they so bleeping beautiful and talented?
Just an observation, but... a couple of these seem to have been sped up or cut short. For instance, the first two of the Bananarama bits. And I think the Cher piece, too.
I've made a few of my own French & Saunders music parody tapes. They could do any genre and ace. I even find myself humming along or singing them later when I go to bed or have to do something boring like fix something.
The funniest part is min. 8.30 when they do the I, I, I, part of I should be so lucky. I sing this at the shower most of the times, and I love doing the I, I, I...
if you can find the actual video for mamas and the papas' "california dreamin'", watch it. they really did do a spectacular job with that parody.

These ladies are obviously incomparable in what they do, but let's not forget the contribution of Raw Sex to their shows.

I'm sorry to comment twice but:
"You see, I turned a page last night."
"You turned a page?"
"Found you there with my best friend."
"She's your best friend?"
"C'est la vie. C'est good for you, c'est bad for me."
"Quite seriously."
...had me rolling! hahahahahahahahaha.
