Its much darker than the PC version for sure. On PC it always seems like its on full bright.

The PC version has a community patch with lighting effects. It makes everything look much better and majority of things darker.

Well, it's not actually this dark lol. It's just because it's recorded, believe me. I saw a video of L4D and it was pitch black, but I could actually see better when I saw my friends play it.

its not actually that hard to shoot the weapons out of the air. You just need to shoot roughly in that direction and youll knock it out of the air.

you only need to go through one path to move on. the right path is much faster than the left, as you can just run through without fighting anything

There's one thing I don't get: you say that you had to re-do the previous segment (the one with the cabin fight) and that, while you were re-doing it, you had Ashley being hit once, unlike the first time. Yet, at the beginning of this segment, we can see that Ashley has lost a bit of health. But normally, if Ashley wasn't hit in chapter 2-2 during your fisrt playthrough, she should have a full health bar when you started THIS chapter.

I'm not sure what your question is. When I redid the previous segment, I had to redo this segment as well to keep the segments consistent(health, ammo, time). If you don't know where she got hurt, it was at 1:33 in my 2-2 segment. If I didn't answer your question feel free to reply.

So, if I understand correctly, since you said that you had realised the cabin segment was missing only after you had completed the chapter with the water room (that is to say, chapter 3-1), it means that, in order that all the segments should be consistent with each other, you had to redo every segment which is between chaper 2-2 and chapter 3-2 before continuing the speedrun from where you had left it, right?

Make sure you run past every avoidable enemy(which may take several retries(see 4-4)), use RLs on the bosses, and only settle for your best time-every second counts, and they quickly accumulate into minutes, etc. I'm not sure what else to add, but if you have any specific questions about the tricks I used, I'll be glad to help.
