On the other hand, Christians act like reading the Bible is not important and do several of the things shown in the video, instead of actually meditating and really reading it. However, after reading the description, I would say this is from a Christian producer.
Always remember that it is very clear in Genesis, that humans have the knowledge of good and evil. Use that knowledge. If your Bible is telling you to do evil, you're reading it wrong.

@TheBlanco951 Very little considering it is one verse, and verses were not numbered until after 1000AD, meaning a single verse gives little in context of the chapter. Essentially the chapter opens with something akin to "I have not lost my zeal for Israel" so I would take it in the context of Israel/Judah representing the world of sinners to be forgiven in due time. But this could be wrong, I did not examine the whole chapter just now. I think you understand my meaning though, a verse isnt enuff

The old testament and new testament are different testaments for a reason. And the enormous content of the bible cannot be understood in one reading at all times, in my view. Some of the comments were discouraging and terrible storys as a christian myself. If you find yourself in need of help religously, have a question, or want to try make sense of something so confusing as the bible, not to be a christian, maybe just to make sense of it. Just send me a message, i will not hesitate nomatter who you are, the video was good and very true. It is good to show such a great message through a comedic video. Great job. Another way to NOT read your bible, is to abstain from reading it - probably the healthiest thing to do, to sustain faith.
When I read it - it made me realize how ridiculous it is.

Second of all, "who created god?" Sounds alot like "what made the big bang?" and "who made the first person in evolution?". EVOLUTION IS A DEAD END THEORY. Nobody can see it past their stupidity, a man is made from monkey, what made the monkey? the thing that is more primitive then that. then that. then that. at one point there are no more possible creatures and still it is left unsolved. Evolution does not negate religion. What created the beginning of the universe? The big bang? What made it happen? Where did the matter come from? I am just curious. How does evolution mean that God doesn't exist? If God didn't just show up, how did the universe just show up?

@joseph2ne exactly i agree with you 100%..what starts must have something starting it..so therefore the univere has to be infinite..there was no beggining and there will be no end. God does exist:) but god is not what we think he is. How can god be limited to a physical human form. He must be a intelligent force that resides in everything. Afterall we are also energy beings controlling this physical body and mind. We think we are lmited..but god is within us. Within everything that exists:)

Even if you do not believe in god the Bible has an amazing psychological understanding of human nature that is timeless. If anything you can read it for that insight and inspiration that it does lay the groundwork for an ideal to aspire to that does improve our ability to live in this world with others.

I am addressing all the people who would mock the bible because of their refusal to believe in god. I think in such a case discussing the bible as a profound historical writing that truly demonstrates its authors as having a keen understanding of human psychology is the appropriate next step towards remediation between two opposing groups of thought.

It always amuses me that atheists and fundamentalists read the Bible in the same wrong-headed way - like it was newpaper language. You have certainly never studied the Bible in a serious way. If you are incapable of understanding the difference between historical narrative, metaphor, poetry, pastoral reflection, apocalyptic literature, etc., then not only will you never understand the Bible, but you will never be capable of understanding any literature written for adults.
