My first time really looking at this review, but about the backpack. The thrusters of the Raphael should be pointing up and that connect to the connectors for added stability/to make the back pack more secure on Raphael.

@legendbooks seraphim and its gn drive were severely damaged, so tiera built him self a new mobile suit using the gadessa and the seravee and installed 3 gn drive tau in it.

Seravee was too slow and compromise Tieria most of the time. This design makes the suit faster looking. Plus he can easily detach the backpack to get more speed.

@UberFrito WRONG! Seravee was a huge step up from virtue and the only time he was ever "compromised" for apparently being "slow" was when he was facing mobile suits that were better then his in general. the innovators all had suits that were only second or third to the 00 raiser.

the kit looks great but if you put raphael in a close range combat I dont think it has much close range weapons I'm not saying its a bad kit or gundam but they should of given him a beam saber for just those sorts of situations

@bro577 he lives in japan so he can go to akihabara or any other local hobby shop and every kit is ready for hm. If your in North America there should be some local hobby shops that would carry them, china-town and anime shops would have them aswell, if you cant find them then go to hlj.com to order them. there are alot more sites to choose from, but too many to list. and Nadleeh form , you can get a 1/144 scale High grade of it.

i just noticed that rrobert didn't use those rotating purple parts on the back of the raphael. according to the manual, you use them along with the peg hole in attaching the backpack.

I really don't see why the couldn't have made the GN bazookas to be able to go full tilt forward. I can imagine the bazookas aimed straight for the camera, and then claws off to the side.

@soldier4670 Some people paint, some people don't. Some people have the patience to paint, some don't. It's frankly easier to use the stickers in my opinion. And it's nothing to get snippy about... Rob just doesn't paint.

@soldier4670 I will agree with you, it is a really nicely painted kit. But I'm pretty sure that's the first model he's ever painted, or at least the first model he's ever painted that he's shown on youtube. The majority of them are plain plastic, stickers and panel lining.

Frankly speaking, I don't think not many will buy the Gundam OO condenser type. I mean, it is simply the same OO gundam without the GN drives according to the pictures on HLJ. Seems to me like a rip-off on Bandai's part to re-release the OO Gundam without the GN drives, imo.

But yeah, they could've done like on the SD lineup and have included the GN Condensers on one of these HG's...

Before watching the movie and reviews of the 4 kits i only like the harute gundam.  Now i love the raphael gundam and harute and also the zabanya but really do not like the 00 quanta...Its jus too plain compared to the other three.

Doesn't the raphael's body look as if its been based on the Garrazo? The arms are similar, as well as the shoulders, legs, feet and the collar. I think that Bandai kinda ran out of ideas and based it on the Garrazo

Nice review, a bold desing on the Raphael, but as you said , it is a model that embodies a reason, overall truw to the serires/movie concept, out of the ordinary and alien-looking gundam... Tieria is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!

Nice review. Raphael wasn't really my favorite design from the movie, but getting a good look at the kit has raised my opinion. Seeing as the Raphael is supposedly related to the Reborns judging by their model numbers, I'd like to see a side by side comparison of Raphael w/o Seravee II and the Reborns. Reborns was already pretty tall, but which of the two wins out in height?

Well its over all nice model kit with its pros and cons. But what I'm dissapointed is locking of that head while having back pack on. Bandai could had done that better so that head moves even when back pack is on.

In regards to Seravee II from not having stickers for the eyes, I think Bandai did that expecting people to get the HG Seravee II kit and then combine it. Sneaky sneaky Bandai... Anyway, I agree that the Raphael does look pretty cool. I can't wait for the eventual scene where you have all 4 of them. And I don't think that many people are gonna get the 00 Condenser Type when we all know the 00 Qan[T] is Setsuna's main, final suit.
