I like the way no one wanted to answer the question apart from Ron Paul. Maybe it was because none of them understand how or why oil prices are so high to begin with and the integral part it plays in the economy. You know sometimes when I hear him talk about letting Iran nuke up I get a little nervous. But listening to his responses on almost everything related to economics versus every other politician barring Paul Ryan on the planet it is clear he is the best choice the only choice..period.

1) Drug addiction is scientifically proven to be a mental illness. People are biologically addicted to these things & need the effective medical care to get over them. It's not some choice they've made but rather a physical problem they can't overcome once they're addicted.
2) Drug cartels are the real criminals and the illegality of drugs allows them to function. If drugs were regulated cartels wouldn't be needed as suppliers.

There is no drug (maybe outside crack) that is as addicting or effects one's mindset as much as heroin. This video is old (pre $147/barrel in June 08). Gibson was wrong as in December of 08 gas prices plummeted below $2 a gallon. That was because the financial crisis hit and the correction was beginning. This was the strengthening of the dollar. Then the FED did QE1 and QE2, and Obama ran up deficits with stimulus spending. The dollar was re-weakened and oil is back up again. Versus gold, Oil has still been flat (and actually plummeted 35% after the downgrade).

The day I learned he was out of the race last time, I knew America was way, way less intelligent and responsible, in general as a people, than I could have ever imagined. I was walking around with this idea that people around me were actually "good responsible Americans" until that happened.

1) Drug addiction is scientifically proven to be a mental illness. People are biologically addicted to these things & need the effective medical care to get over them. It's not some choice they've made but rather a physical problem they can't overcome once they're addicted.
2) Drug cartels are the real criminals and the illegality of drugs allows them to function. If drugs were regulated cartels wouldn't be needed as suppliers.

There is no drug (maybe outside crack) that is as addicting or effects one's mindset as much as heroin. Jail isnt a positivie environment to promote sobriety. Say by sending them to rehab instead of jail, only 1/10 people get clean (long term). That's better than the 0/10 when they are imprisoned. That being said, if you are referring to theft as in the 8th Commandment, or murder as in the 6th Commandment, then you're out of luck. We will push our morality on society. Atheists cannot account for morality and based in subjective and relativism. THAT could never work in a society. Rape would be perfectly acceptable. BTW, Ron Paul is a Christian. He is a good man!

This video is old (pre $147/barrel in June 08). Gibson was wrong as in December of 08 gas prices plummeted below $2 a gallon. That was because the financial crisis hit and the correction was beginning. This was the strengthening of the dollar. Then the FED did QE1 and QE2, and Obama ran up deficits with stimulus spending. The dollar was re-weakened and oil is back up again. Versus gold, Oil has still been flat (and actually plummeted 35% after the downgrade).

I haven't seen any oil from Iraq costing us less than any other place. Here's a simple solution: drill here. We've got plenty of it. What's so hard about that? What's Paul saying about going to Iraq for oil? Time is the true test for honesty. Time has proven Paul to be wrong on THIS one. There is no reason for America to spend $2 Billion a day..( let that sink in a minute) to foreign countries who would and do, try to destroy America. In the USA, there is enough natural gas to supply American cars, trucks etc. for 100 YEARS!!! House Resolution (HR1380) is just for that. To convert your car or truck to natural gas and get about $8000.00+ in incentives for doing so. Jobs, saved revenue, cleaner air....whats not to like??? Tell the Saudi's to fuck off! Be sure you register online as REPUB today - there are 18 or more semi closed/ closed primary states that will not allow you to vote for Ron Paul in the crtiical primary unless U R a registered REPUB . Not everyone knows that and I know RonPaul ahs a lot of young supporters and party line crossovers . I would hate to see people upset at the polls as I was the time it happened to me - pass it on

He brought up real issues in the 2008 campaign and provided solutions without distorting the language. The best way to take our country back is to vote in the primaries for Dr. Paul. He is a BOSS. Finally, somebody with an actual understanding of economics; someone who knows that inflation is not a natural, semi-benign phenomenon, but a product of government debt and overreach. If only people were educated enough to even recognize an educated man, he would have a shot at candidacy. Unfortunately, he is too "radical" (i.e. rational) and willing to challenge "establishment" to make it... Certainly, he says things I don't agree with, but his justifications are always very solid
