It is hard to place direct values on JLC Atmos clocks that are not current models. This clock can be bought new old-stock (for example) from a non-dealer with no warranty for $6250 right now (google for it). I have one for sale myself for less. On the more "classic" and "simpler" atmos clocks, you can pick up some for 600$ overhauled, but, a special one (black face, copper plated) that is not working can go for 1500$. Check ebay and google.

Doesn't that trivialise a lifetime.... The year indicator only moves a quarter of a turn in 80 years.
