this film may not be a fair representation of web based groups but it shows Rhodri and his father in a good light and those, actually being national treasures, deserve a fair representation. but if these 'fan sites' call them selves activists and have footage of them training with AK47s then they need to be exposed as the idiots they are.
Found this last night and posted it on my fb page - Rhodri's very proud of our father, like me, and the bit about the White Eagle had me howling. The film makers are sensationalist, obviously, wildly hinting at imminent resurgence. Non existent. Thankfully we have an Assembly now, to look after Wales and Welsh interests. The insecure Wales of the 60's had no such representative body, and inevitably, feeling was desperate measures had to be taken. People can only take so much.
I feel like i may owe you and rhodri an apology. Im the presenter and co producer of this film. we set out to make the film an awareness project but i found myself caught up in the past and misrepresenting the present. I am very proud of my Welsh heritage and am very thankful for people like Cayo who were prepared to really work so that i could learn welsh and have a country to be proud of.
Nice footage with Rhods - listen lads - Facebook isn't real - its a "Group" or "Appreciation society" even the "annoying Orange " has a group on there -i did have a laugh as i'm in some of those pics of the Cayo remembrance events over the yrs.
Great to see an interview with Cayo's son, but the nonsense at the end regarding the sites on facebook spoils the whole video! Its a bloody history group, and those staff titles are a joke ffs!
