Trashy game. It's just a race to the over-powered weapons. No weapon balance or thought was put into this game. Just a bunch of ripped off mechanics from resident evil: over the veiw shoulder, duck/cover system, A to run, 1 button does everything, weapon and ammo swapping, active reload, and those spider things. Horrible artwork, big bulky characters, and the blood isnt even a good color. campaign is repetitive and the multyplayer is a stop drop and roll fest. This game is trash.
@Fade2Dark They tried to make it about skill in multiplayer, you for one fail. The A button is not for realoding or anything, Resident Evil wasn't even close to Gears. The singleplayer follows from happened at Eday, play it and see. People love it because of the multiplayer. Skill is needed. All you care about is graphics, what a game needs is some fun, your not the one to gudge it.
@UsStuff When I played this game, I used retro lancer and saw'd off. I was lvl 8 and I owned a lvl 73. I just wait behin a corner and when they try to roll and shotgun me, I just peak out and blast them with the saw'd off. Skill in this? no.. lolz. I killed a lot of people with this tactic. This game involoves no skill, i can dominate an entire team alone with just the boomshot and digger. FIRST TEAM THAT GETS TO THE BEST WEAPON FIRST WINS. GG.
@1manmaiden Those who like the game are most likely to be better then those who do not. When I used to play i use over powered weapons, and cheap tactics. As soon as game starts I rush to the nearest most powerful weapon. Horde was probably the best thing Gears had to offer, honestly.

@1manmaiden ive taken down a lancer user with a retro lancer from far range. I space out myshots, enough to keep accurate but not enough to lose the fight. I think its overpowered. I didnt even active reload it, the fight lasted about 6 seconds.

@Fade2Dark You know how kids are over the mic. It's true about the power weapons but since they patched it, the weapons have less ammo so they run out quickly, digger has about 3. But hey, everyone has their own opinions right? I like love Battlefield 3 too. I dislike stuff too so yeah. They made the new update (Fenix Rising) not only too the new gamemodes and DLC's but the balances, Epic got about 6000 complaints about that. They might make more changes in the future though.

But of course, there is the next breed of screaming 12 year-old kids to buy the next COD game. @YourOwnJesus It sure is more realistic then Gears, although the knife being the most powerful weapon in the game is alone enough for me to say about realism... But because I wanna give more examples, here are just a few:
Perks, gun proficiencies, death streaks, blast radius on explosives and lots more - And btw I don't hate COD, it's one of my all time favorite favorite games (I have played it since "COD 2 - Big Red Onw"), although I don't like your arguments.

Awesome sequence and a great quality video, but please just stick to the gameplay and quit zooming out constantly to the two guys just standing there playing. It's boring, distracting, and pointless. Anyway, it looks like the best Gears yet, and I'm looking forward to getting my copy in the mail in a couple days!
