По-моему чудо автомобиль. Никогда не подводила. Руки к ней приложить (в меру!) и все в порядке будет
these were the cars of my childhood. i never thought of them as being ugly or repulsing. they were beautiful in their way and i liked them all!
i still miss the smell and sound of them, if one old car happens to pass i always look at it fixated (i dont even take notice of modern expensive cars). these old ones are rugged and easy to repair, and cheap to maintain. and in comfort too, old cars had beautifully soft seats, unlike modern cars!
Awesome looking car! Whenever I think of cars made in Russia, I think of rugged yet ugly cars I wouldn't be caught dead standing next to. This, I'd love to see for myself.
They should have started designing VAZ 2108 in 1979 (instead of 1984) then the USSR cars market might have been as modern as that in Europe at that time.
@SuperMAZ007 the same mistake made Zastava with Florida/Sana. Both Samara and Florida are superb cars made for that time. I can't help but to notice that on the last picture, the part where the dials are(speedometer and rest) are the same with these two cars. My cousin had a Samara and l have nothing but good words to describe the car. God if we could only get back in time... :(
@SuperMAZ007 the 2108 was a modern car at 1984 the only problem it had was that they did not put many updates on it. For me a 2010 samara should look similar to Opel Astra or Renault Meagan of 2010. and the currently samara had to be for a 1995 car
