  • I've just manage to buy one from eBay and it's just incredible!

  • Very excellent information turnable music to vid!!!

  • these audiophiles can have there rega, or what they call Hi-Fi.

This baby is a beauty. I have the SL 5, but wow the build qualit of the SL 10 looks amazing. a great piece of kit, that is a keeper!

  • Like my grandpap says RCA made a record player without a needle.

  • Try the Ortofon X1-MPC high-output Moving Coil Cartridge and this table will surprise you. This Moving Coil P-mount sounds better than many 1/2 Mount Cartridges out there.

  • wow!!! it's a phase 4 stereo record with the 1st track You only live twice and then My cup runneth over the a man and a woman Is the LP by ronnie aldrich?Lovely

  • Part. 1

The SL-10 does not have auto track selection. You can only select tracks the way he did it in the video. It does have auto speed select (based on record size). the manual speed is in case you have 10" LP's or 12" 45's etc. The track selector buttons do have two speeds (press harder/go faster) the 45 adapter is built into the platter. There is a small strobe scope on the part that holds the record down. It will play at any angle even upside down as long as it is kept still.

  • Part 2

The width & depth of the turntable is no larger then an LP jacket. The reason it plays upside down/vertical etc. is because the arm (with cartridge) is balanced and the rear of the arm is pulled toward the lid with about a gram of force causing the front to go to the record surface with the same force and gravity is not a factor. The auto speed is determined by LCD's in the platter being blocked by the record. Manual speed selection may be needed on colored (semi transparent) discs.

  • I really want to hunt down one of these, my Hitachi HT-L303 turntable is starting to die on me. :( (A linear tracking turntable that is belt drive.)

  • I'm 100% gutted I was out bid on one of these exact models on e-bay. Noce to see one in action though :-)

  • To select another track you are manually cueing the tonearm to the next track. Doesn't the SL-10 have automatic selection and programming of the tracks. I just bought a Technics SL-L1 and it is either manual selection of automatic. Other than being capable of playing on its side I am not familiar with the SL-10

  • i own the SlQl15, there's 2 differences.

    1) size, ql15 has rack size.

    2) it has automatic song tracking, so is like play a cd player.. i want song 4 and it jumps to that song.. its amazing

Do you know the Sl10 can play records vertically?? :D

  • nice video. the only let down with the SL-10 is it only taking a P mount cartridge, restricts you from fitting a proper cart to it and hearing what it can really do!

  • So, P-mount cartridges aren't cartridges, now? Just because 1/2 inch mounts are widely used, doesn't mean that p-mounts suck!

  • You are right about this. Quality p-mounts are harder to find but they are out there. "LP Gear" on the web sells a p-mount hyper elliptical and a shibata cut stylus of high end quality for a reasonable price. I have 2 p-mount turntables including a Technics Sl-10 and an SL MA1 and enjoy them immensely so anyone who says TOO BAD about p-mount can.....well you know what they can do.

  • I have a newer model of this and has a P-Mount Ortofo.

  • Great!!!!!!!!!!!! What ths name of the song

    ypou only live twice¿

  • Díganme

WHAT VERSION OF "YOU ONLY LIVE TWICE" IS THAT?? I LOVE IITTTTTTTTTT

QUE VERSION DE ESA CANCION ES SOLO SE VIVE DOS VECES???????????

    ES EXCELENTE

  • Is it great ?

I WANT TO BUY IT TOMORROW

  • Excelente reproductor de vinilo.
