I do not want to be critical. You are brave to put yourself on video singing! Everybody has an opinion. Obviously you love to sing. I hope you read this because with proper training you can have a good voice.:) I did take voice and I enjoy music like everyone else but to claim an 5 octave voice if you cant hit the ranges "comfortably". SADE does not have a range but everyone on earth loves her sexy smokey tone. Find what range you sing comfortable in. prove u can sing !
I don't believe some of those notes would be considered singing...good try though..you sound like a singer from a bad 80's hair band..dude take some lessons, this would save your voice and help your tone a great deal..you do have some raw talent though.
@KoNjire i am a vocal major... when i heard this the first thing i thought of was the stress on the vocal chords and he does show a range that is impressive but not displayed well artistically... i myself have a wide range in my college choir i sing bass but in all actuality i am a baritone-tenor. My vocal instructor has me singing tenor pieces, John Jacob Niles for example now that is art.
@TheMrpuertorico11 AMEN! this is not singing. this is not art. this is exhibitionism and this guy GUARANTEED can't sing any tune with decent tone because all he is doing is blasting single notes. regardless of his technique I believe that this is the prime example why singers with much more limited octave range and flawless CONTROL of their range will always be REMEMBERED and are indeed BETTER singers. this is just PATHETIC.
This is quite impressive, however you would only have about a 2 and a half ocatav range. When counting range, vocal fries, falsetto, and whistle register don't count.
Why the hell does your accent change all the time? I was like omg what a nice london accent, then it suddenly sounded texan then ended somewhere around sidney... O_o
I really doubt your vocal range is 5 octaves. Yes it is very impressive but I can almost guarantee that your range is not 5 octaves. That's as many as Ian Gillian for God sake.
Great operatic notes at 3:35 and 3:53 !!! I like that you try different singing styles. But for me your classical tenor voice and the whistle tones are most impressive!
@MacGregor88 Brad Delp was amazing and had very clean vocals and an amazing range but I wouldn't say that he was the high note master by any stretch. Maybe in terms of clean vocals and an opera tone plus rock tone at the same time but far from the highest. Rip Brad Delp one of my favorites of all time.
LOL, what the hell, I got so confused because of the way you started the video ahaahahaha. Awesome. Hahaha... Started moving the arms up as the note got higher and then awww, put them down. I needed this ahahaha. Awesome job, though.
Very nice! Great mastery! Although it's fairly obvious that holding notes as high as you can go require another kind of work to control air expulsion properly. @mauriciomille and please! stop to smoke that feed!, will end your brain, and then you wll try it, and what's going to make a note is that big drope of saliva coming down.... Biiiiiiiiiiiiip!
hi such, because they all have that voice so good you should assemble a band of hard rock, and because you wanted to ask if you could tell me the name of the song at the bottom line at the beginning of your video, if you could me yours send to my email or enjoy myself in any way? thanks and goodbye
Oh, my God you have such a range and strength. Silly to strain it like that. PLEASE STOP. Just looked at the date. 3 years have gone by. What have you done with yourself, your schooling and that extraordinary voice? You could sing opera at a very high level with a range like that. All I care about now is that you are OK.
Dude! You definitely love all the best singers. You should add Brad Delp and Lou Graham to your list though, for sure! Anyway, you have a tremendous range and ability to make it all sound as though it is part of the full rock voice in your middle range - bravo. Thanks for sharing!
Very impressive indeed. You should sing a song now. One small point, your slide was 2 octaves and a tone, not 3 and a half, but I'm sure you could easily slide 4.
I don't mean any disrespect - you do what you do very well - but why do you do what you do? I can hit a wide range of notes on a piano but I can't play the thing in a way that sounds musical, and that is surely the point of making those sounds, isn't it? Perhaps I'm missing the point - is there some sort of competitive voice league? In truth, I'd rather listen to Bob Dylan use his extremely limited range in an affecting, emotive way than listen to anyone sing sustained notes out of context.
Nice job dude! Didn´t enjoy the act as much although lol.
Anyone who says you have no potential to singing are just jealous believe me.
First of all, folks, his higher notes AREN´T falsetto, they are Mixed Voice and Head Voice, and it DOES account in the true vocal range of a singer. His "scream" account totally as singing in rock styles, so you people who consider singing just clean vocals as opera vocals, open your mind. Listen to nirvana, alice in chains, motorhead, acdc. it's funny how you go from Opera notes to hard rock notes, and from burping to sounding like a bee, then at the very end the sound of an alien invasion. I almost felt possesed for a moment lol

Very good! And incredibly impressive. Seem full-voiced, too. No falsetto, am I correct? (My father is, too; I've always admired that in a male voice.)
I enjoyed your 10-second holds during your tessitura; how did you best get to discover and manipulate your whistle range? Mine starts at E6 and goes to about G7, with a few spots (though, I can 'slide whistle' fairly well without breaks). It has vibrato, -some- power and stamina. Still issues with note selection, though. Suggestions?
first your gangster, then your british wtf i mean then you start gargeling i don't get it. there's a lot of humming. i could use a hummer. omg this is the most annoying video ever. you could be the gay tenor 'faggaloti' perfect.
Some of your higher notes looked strained, you should try to keep within your comfortable range before you devolop nodes and decrease your range completely.
I am no musician, but there seem to be elements of Tibetan throat chanting and overtone singing here - particularly in the lower 'didgeridoo' type notes and that very pure bell like note you sang near the end. There is remarkable potential here, but what are you doing with it? I'd also agree with some of the comments - be careful of your voice. Don't force it, train it properly and use it in some productive and positive way. It would be a shame to waste such a skill.

can you sing a song? i mean one of any of those artist song's you listed on the info and do it very well done? without sounding weird and stupid? i don't think so.. i think you're funny and so full of shit... if you want the fucking attention learn how to sing first, what is the point of your voice range if you don't know how to use it right. Just keep raping gansta! it matches you :)
that's a A vocalise, not 'singing' to have a true 5 octave range, one must incorporate it within actual singing.

i rate your midway vocals too low your bass is poor too high it sounds like screaming but midway sounds really good
