Correct me if im wrong but it seems like you want to promote only certain types of games that fit your idea of what a game should be, all games are important as they are a bit of the creative soul of the designer that made them, the experience of the artists and musicians that make up the visual experience and the writers views on todays world.

What is interesting about this conversation is the lack of eye contact between a gamer and a game designer. The points are valid but the body language is a great indication of how gamers see themselves and how people who are not see each other.
