you could build a fairly decent one (not like the ones in the video) for about 15 grand. thats excluding the cost for the vehicle itself. so your probably running about 45-50 grand if you buy the vehicle new.

no company makes TT's that are worth half a mil? Have you ever heard of Terrible Herbst motorsport? their garage alone costs probably close to $5 mil. their TT's are easily $600k. There is not many companies that simply produce TT's for sale, most TT's are made in house with proprietary technology. Camburg is the only company to my knowledge that makes TT's for general sale, and the Camburg Kinetik's cost $300k for a 'simple' TT that doesnt have half time or engineering of a true race teams TT.
Fact of the matter is, to replicated, or build a competitive Trophy Truck. It would easily cost $500k+. this JUST for the truck. Not counting the tooling, or other expenditures needed to produce the truck or support a race team. No you cannot simply go out and buy a $500k TT because they are purpose built by the team for the team. So it would be accurate to call a TT a "$500k truck" simply because that is how much someone would have to pay to get one.
