I don't know how to explain, but I use rotations for the animation of legs (one rotation at each tick (1 sec = 20 ticks)), but if the rotation is too high (30° for example) the animation is bad ... (because legs aren't attached to the body). Sorry if I'm expressing myself badly.
@Spirale01 It's not a matter of making the legs rotate *higher*, but rather of making the front legs move together and the hind legs move together. If you're good at math, this might make the most sense: If the rotation of the legs can be represented as a sine wave, then it's currently:

you should add it so that if you run over tall grass it cuts it like how OoT and MM both had Epona destroy grass she ran over.

Great addition! A few suggestions, though:
1) Make it so the view bobs while riding Epona
2) Make Epona gallop, instead of walking fast
3) Add hoof-fall sounds, because the walking-on-grass sounds get annoying when they're really fast
