@Sebastian198004 Thanks for the question. The fluid resistance unit has a linear feel to it. Imagine riding on a flat road with no wind. You can spin relatively effortlessly at around 15 mph, but boost it up to 22 mph and you'll start to feel it. In contrast, a magnetic unit will allow you to adjust harder or easier tension at any speed. You do however loose the realistic coasting and coast down when using a mag trainer. The fluid RU feels a lot more like the road!
I love my kinetic trainer and this video too! My friend got a rock n roll trainer and now I want one of those myself. Thanks for a quality inspirational video. Loved the music and the scenery.
On my Kurt most nights of the week. A great way to build up endurance and increase rpms. Put a bucket under your front wheel for an up hill challenge!
How does cycling on such a device "feels like" compared to a magnetic resistance spin bike?

Yes, Kinetic trainers definitely work with mountain bikes too. We also offer a wheel adapter for BMX bikes and recumbent bikes!

Would one of these kinetic trainers work with my mountain bike? Or is it for road bikes only?

if you use this outside in the sun, will the metal contacting the tire heat up to the point of bursting the inner tube?

Great video. The KK Road machine is the best indoor bike trainer out there. Where were the outdoor shots for that video shot?

I use my Kinetic almost every day in the winter. A good 30 min to 1 hour workout will keep my legs strong. :P
