  • sounds like you need a slightly richer fuel mix in the liquid fuel mode

  • *munch munch* *spit* *munch munch* *spit* *munch munch* *spit*

  • the piston comes so far out of the cylinder!

  • FANTASTIC!!!!

  • Now thats just cool. Great sound, sounds a little out of rythym though.

  • If you like to build model engines don't think that you can't build an I.C. engine. Look at my other engine the "Pioneer" ,this one isn't hard to build, and there is a video and plans available from "smart-flix". I believe you can do it!

  • I enjoy building model engines myself. Unfortunately, I believe that an I.C. engine is a little out of my reach. This thing is fantastic, I would love to have one just like it. I could watch it run all day. Great Job!!

  • The spark plug is an NGK CM-6. The spark plug in my "Pioneer" video is homemade. Thanks for asking.

  • is model's glow plug ? or homemade spark plug ?

  • ohne scheiß aber ich finde der hört sich beschissen an

  • @TheLecker1 wissen Sie, was aufs Geratewohl Motor ist?

  • @robertfilipiak was ist das denn jetzt für ne komische frage?^^

  • It's really nice work, thankyou for posting.

  • kinda sounds wrong... shouldnt it just fire and not have to cycle through several compression strokes? i dont know anything about tuning the fuel/air mixture on these, but kinda acts lean... like it has to build up fuel. runs great on propane though! im probably going to opt for the vapor carb on mine too, looks alot easier to build...

  • sounds really nice its great!

  • Nicely done

  • Congratulation for this great work!

    Its a wonderful engine.

  • seems like it has more power with the propane.

  • ok call me stupid... but why does it hit and then miss?

  • "Hit" is when the engine fires, causing the flywheel(s) to spin faster. When this happens the governor will hold the exhaust open or "(miss" (no compression or spark) causing the engine to freewheel until the stored energy in the flywheel(s) is diminished at which point, the governor releases the exhaust valve and the engine has compression and fires again "hit".

  • It;s all to do with ecnomy. When it doesn't fire it uses no fuel at all so is about 15 times more economical than an ordinary four stroke!

  • @haks0894 your stupid

  • nice build!!!!

got to love the name.."hit and miss" :D

  • its got a good beat lug lug BAM ssssss...lug lug BAM ssssss...

  • That really sounds like snoring to me XDD

  • Cooler than a very cool thing !! Wish I had a machine shop and the skill to use it !! Would be good to see this little gem with a load on it.

  • a BEAUTIFUL machine, im jealous because being a rookie machinist at engine building i havent even gotten an air engine to cooperate with me, fantastic work

  • Very nice job. I won't even talk about my first attempt at building a gas model. Even though I had built several steam engines, I still could not get the thing to run right. I glad I did not give up and have since built several gas models.

Good job on the video and engine. Love those hit and miss engines.

    John

  • looks great Grandpa!!! from nay/mom/dad :)

  • SWEET

  • A work of art

  • very good engin

  • Thanks centremecanique, this is my first internal conbustion engine. I've built several steam engines.
