I agree with you, keep the Slant. Valiants just aren't the same without them. Thanks for doing this video too by the way, It takes me back a few years when I was driving my '68 2-dr post (also blue... black int. though), I used to love that distinct sound of the Chrysler starter, followed by the bellow from the exhaust, and that Slant Six tick. I miss it.
Dennis Weaver might have been able to out run that truck if he had a few more ponies from an exhaust like that!
