Tell your buddy with the missing rivets to head to eBay and buy some "Chicago screws" They are slotted on one side and smooth on the other and can be used to replace missing rivets in just such a situation. 1/4 inch should work nicely for the mask...

hey I was curious about the mask... about how strong are the eye holes? like do you think they would bend or crumple undo what fps? 400? because I would worry about the comprimise of the eye protection. and how hard is it to use low profile sights?

yeah. the button for my strap did that too. but i fixed it and its not that much of a proble. but those "imperfections" you talked about are actually supposed to be there. the one above the eye is supposed to be a bullet hole and the one over the mouth is supposed to be some sort of scrape. but overall, the mask has made me happy with its performance and thankfully i havent gotten shot in the face

Cactus Hobbies are a bunch of fucks! I paid for 2 masks back in September of '09 and they screwed me. They shifted all their orders to Evike.com a month later and disappeared. I contacted Evike (which gets their products from Cactus) and Evike didn't have any information on Cactus Hobbies except for a yahoo email address. The one they never respond from. I find it hard to believe they do thousands of dollars worth of business with a company they have no contacts, names or information on.bullshit

If someone shot the mesh from six feet away with a 350 fps automatic rifile with high-quality bb's would this mesh handle it? I have big-bushy hair (covered with a balaclava) I enjoy full face masks, I have a mercenary looking loadout and I sometimes have trouble aiming down my ak74 and my m16's iron-sight with my current mask. Given this info, would you suggest this mask for me? I hope for an answer soon because I'm planning on getting this tomorrow unless someone says otherwise.

for people that have buckles pop off my buddy told me an easy mod for it.........

use a store bought nut bolt set ( 5 of them) and replace the little rivited pieces and put regular tape on the inside of the mask to cover the nut (only if it breaks again so you can take it off easily and then glue a foam pad in place for comfort.
