so i installed parallels thinking it would run windows...so its telling me i have o enter a product key...what do i have to buy(how much)...i have a pc(vista) can i use the product key from that and the installation disc or do i have o buy a new windows program like vista...thank this would be a huge help!!!

Technically, that's illegal to use that key but you can use it. Running a virtual machine is just like running a regular PC. So you need a product key and everything to set up Windows.
