Most of the poppers on SYTYCD arent REAL poppers, when have you ever seen a SYTYCD popper actually doing hits, boogaloo, g-style, animatornic, etc. In All the SYTYCD seasons, the real poppers are Monstapop! My honest opinion. And I'm not dissing the poppers from SYTYCD, they were my inspiration in dance :D

@dqtt85 poplocking was coined in Compton where G-style started. Everyone who grew up there would lock and would have a hit to it. Most people here in the westcoast area call it that. Remember that popping came from locking, hence poplocking. The EBs didn't wanna get people confused between the styles so they separated the two terms. Most OGs grew up calling it poplocking so you just gotta respect the history. I get where you're coming from though. Much respect.
