Apparently, when a JW molest a child, he does it with two other JWs watching. I came to this conclusion because when a molested child cries for help in the JW community, he needs two witnesses. Logically, it follows that most of these abuse take place in the presence of two witnesses. It's either that or they just want to rape children in peace.

I joined the Catholic Church after five years of "church hopping." I have always loved God and I respect honest-hearted folks who worship Him in their own way, but I really enjoy my Catholic Faith.
I, along with about a billion others, believe that the Church founded by Jesus Christ subsists in its entirety in the Catholic Church, whilst also believing that any and all who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are in very truth Christians.
I only wasted three years with The Organization, but they were three very critical years, from my 16th through 19th birthdays. I really regret that I shunned my childhood friends and classmates, as dictated by Jehovah Witnesses. I regret looking forward to everybody but JWs being killed by God at Armageddon.
This is a sick sect that brought out the worst in me. I finally quit on October 6, 1975, one day after Armageddon was supposed to happen, acc. to them.

When you are told that you have to be a certain way and do things a certain way for so long, you don't know how to live.
I was never allowed to have friends outside the kingdom hall, no holidays, no birthdays, could never date and you always feel guilty for researching other religions. I pray to God everyday that I will find healing and can move on from this.
I understand your case. Well, when a certain group really has "the truth" they are not afraid to let their flock investigate outside their umbrella for they are CERTAIN that their teachings are unquestionable and cannot possibly be refuted by any man. For truth does NOT need any support---truth can STAND alone by itself. When a certain religion forbids their flock to research deeper that is one clear sign that they have no firm foundation for the truth they hold.
By then doubt compels one to ask why? Have you heard of "the dark ages" when most people believe the sun revolved around the planets---as taught by The Church excommunicating every one who would oppose this unscientific belief? I know you have. But what have we gained by that truth? Nothing. Now we understand why the church forbids most of her followers to do some research. The same applies to EVERY Religion and every denomination.

Apology Accepted. I do not hate someone who is a JW. It is the isolation and treatment of those who disagree or are kicked out of the congregation i have a serious issue with. The Witnesses knocking on my door on a Saturday morning was never the issue... what was grievous is that JWs were busy bringing a rehearsed script of heresy to doors, working their way to "salvation" (so Witnesses are taught), but in actuality bringing deception and damnation to many. First of all, I strongly doubt you were taught to believe that people who were not Jehovah's Witnesses were evil. Because that's not what taught me. Jehovah's witnesses dont convert people or brainwash them. You read your bible right? When I knocked on the doors to talk to people i never brought any of the literature from the witnesses out it was always bible based. Matter of fact I always asked for the bible of the person that was at home. Just leaving the an encouraging thought for the day so to say I am sorry I knocked would be saying I am sorry for making your day a little brighter by telling you that God loves you. that's not right!

Your not judging anybody on a personal level by informing people about what the bible teaches. The work that JWs do is the same work Jesus proclaimed. But Jesus did it perfectly, JWs are less than perfect and by no means judges themselves. Only God judges the heart of people. JWs simply raise the question to illicit a response. Even a negative response is a good witness because it asserts a person's view to God, for which he alone judges.

I've never read a word of apostate literature in my life, I couldn't even recognize it if I saw it. I'm glad JW's knock on doors, I think of it as God's way of bringing people right to my doorstep that desperately need to know about the deity of Christ! God loves JW's too.....even though they are misled and on the path to destruction, he still wants them to be 'saved' we are all His children and He doesn't want any of us to perish.
I wonder what kind of a world we would be living in if all of Christ's followers were to go door to door?
Apparently, when a JW molest a child, he does it with two other JWs watching. I came to this conclusion because when a molested child cries for help in the JW community, he needs two witnesses. Logically, it follows that most of these abuse take place in the presence of two witnesses. It's either that or they just want to rape children in peace.

I joined the Catholic Church after five years of "church hopping." I have always loved God and I respect honest-hearted folks who worship Him in their own way, but I really enjoy my Catholic Faith.
I, along with about a billion others, believe that the Church founded by Jesus Christ subsists in its entirety in the Catholic Church, whilst also believing that any and all who accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour are in very truth Christians.

I was raised as a Witness and left a few years ago.
I am 22 and have problems dealing with life after.
When you are told that you have to be a certain way and do things a certain way for so long, you don't know how to live.
I was never allowed to have friends outside the kingdom hall, no holidays, no birthdays, could never date and you always feel guilty for researching other religions. I pray to God everyday that I will find healing and can move on from this.

I understand your case. Well, when a certain group really has "the truth" they are not afraid to let their flock investigate outside their umbrella for they are CERTAIN that their teachings are unquestionable and cannot possibly be refuted by any man. For truth does NOT need any support---truth can STAND alone by itself. When a certain religion forbids their flock to research deeper that is one clear sign that they have no firm foundation for the truth they hold.

Unless, you consider being a missionary a denomination, which I dont bc it shouldnt matter what you are, its always good to care for others all over the world. The Witnesses knocking on my door on a Saturday morning was never the issue... what was grievous is that JWs were busy bringing a rehearsed script of heresy to doors, working their way to "salvation" (so Witnesses are taught), but in actuality bringing deception and damnation to many. They refuse Blood for minors. They cover up domestic violence and child sex abuse on a scale larger than the Catholic Church. They have a data base at their headquarters with over 23 thousand reported cases of sexual abuse that have not been turned over to the authorities.

I am a former jw and i have no such desire. I still want my family to recognize me when I am walking down the street. I am not a hateful atheist nut. I want my family to see the religion for what it is, a religion, not a way of life. That they to can make a choice to leave. Unfortunately, I am stronger than my siblings. I still want to be a part of a family. Do you know "dead"?

Jehovah's witnesses dont convert people or brainwash them. You read your bible right? When I knocked on the doors to talk to people i never brought any of the literature from the witnesses out it was always bible based. Matter of fact I always asked for the bible of the person that was at home. Just leaving the an encouraging thought for the day so to say I am sorry I knocked would be saying I am sorry for making your day a little brighter by telling you that God loves you. that's not right!

Read acts 24:15- yes both the righteous & unrighteous have the hope of everlasting, and then there's those that will be judged, and those that will ya kno, and your refrence is an older source, back then we didn;t have the understanding of the scriptures as well as we do now.

not true and you know it that you went to the doors to promote bible reading. You never went there to convert anyone matter of fact going from door to door if the person doesnt want to talk about the bible with JW's the JW's would thank them for there time and leave. You want to talk to me write to me personally any of you I will tell you exactly what JW's do and it is the truth and not some fabricated stuff to make someone feel better about themselves.

When I was fired from The Bombay Co. I told every1 I knew not to shop there. I said their stuff was cheap & prices inflated. I was bitter & angry nevermind that I was not a good manager. I was soft on my employees, I was miserable @ managing labor dollars, & I sucked @ merchandising, instead of taking responsibility 4 my shortcomings I bashed my ex employer sound familiar? I was never taught that those who arent witnesses R evil never! Nor have I been taught that those who R witnesses R perfect.

Wow! I almost became a Jehovah's Witness myself, BUT i realize that religion can mess people up.
Instead of being a J.W. ,I decided that I'd rather focus on MY Jesus who is God.
Their "jesus" is a mere mortal. I do NOT put my faith in mankind nor their "world religions" or cults, but only in the real Jesus (the Holy Trinity).
JWs try to attack my Trinitarian beliefs, but they're just wasting their time and energy.

Your not judging anybody on a personal level by informing people about what the bible teaches. The work that JWs do is the same work Jesus proclaimed. But Jesus did it perfectly, JWs are less than perfect and by no means judges themselves. Only God judges the heart of people. JWs simply raise the question to illicit a response. Even a negative response is a good witness because it asserts a person's view to God, for which he alone judges.

OK then. My dad was an elder then left because of all the bullshit going on. I have spent all 17 years of my life inside the organization but not a part of it. My mom is suicidal because she thinks armageddon is around the corner and she thinks she wont survive because she doesn't go out in service obsessively. I have have studied the bible with multiple elders, ministorial servants, etc. for the last six years and have been a model student the whole time but refute all of it in my head

for the sake of my own sanity. I've probably read THEIR bible The New World Translation three times. I've heard so many of the Sunday talks that I can distinguish what talk it is within the first 10 seconds. I have heard every argument (if you can call them arguments) I have disected their doctrine from all angles, unbiased. I have studied cults and I can say sadly that Jehovah's Witnesses define cultism. I've watched this cult destroy my entire my family and I couldn't do anything to stop it.

I've never read a word of apostate literature in my life, I couldn't even recognize it if I saw it. To me they're more pathetic than the clowns who buy into the bullshit in the first place, because what apostates fail to realize is that they are playing a vital role in the JW doctrine by being the "persecution" in their prophecy, which only makes Witnesses think that the end is closer than ever and strengthens their faith. I'm glad JW's knock on doors, I think of it as God's way of bringing people right to my doorstep that desperately need to know about the deity of Christ! God loves JW's too.....even though they are misled and on the path to destruction, he still wants them to be 'saved' we are all His children and He doesn't want any of us to perish.
I wonder what kind of a world we would be living in if all of Christ's followers were to go door to door?
