  • I don't know a way around it. I'm so stuck between not being comfortable and wanting to leave. But i know i can't tell these HEAVY things to just anyone. It's sooooo hard to just HOLD in. It wears you down. You want SOOO badly to let someone know that you FEEL this way, but feel a burden. I don't know if this is anything like what you're going through. But i get anxious before and feel so sad sick empty and HOLLOW.

  • Did you ever think the anxiety could be from the impending psych eval? I know when i have an appointment, i get really anxious. Until i see my therapist. I think it's just from anticipation. There is so much that you want to get off your chest and you never know where to begin. Like you hold it all in until that moment.

  • that test you discribe (with the date, year, 100-7-.., draw symbol,...) sounds exactly like the 'mini mental status test' i do with very old ppl. it's to check if they got dementia and in which development they are...weird they did the test on you...

  • Not eating sometimes gives me those chest pains. It's like a really cheap form of self-harm! Yippie! *sarcasm sarcasm raucous applause sarcasm*

The stories were for your memory. I'd fail into a pit of fiery demise and failure and such... fail.

And you're badass. Tell those fuckers off.

  • You're in this world too. Sorry, lady. I don't really know what I have, psychotic disorder of some sort. One thinks it's sz, another PTSD. I go in and out of whatever it is randomly. I kind'of like it sometimes. I only reclused once with severe symptoms. Otherwise, it's random, but not today. Ppl h8 us. Get used to it. You might be an LD. Eek. That's an instant lifetime down the drain. You'll learn to say "fuck you" a lot. It's "affect" your ability.

  • ya my mom get chest pain she has that and she gets it all the time but i have were i cant be around alot of people and i dont get that so its wors for some people and love the shirt

  • haha i had something like this.

i had to pick an animal out of a box of random animals :D

  • This has probably already been answered, but the reason they ask you questions like that is because they're testing your cognitive ability. Things like memory (short and long-term), comprehension, language as well as co-ordination and motor function, among other things. It's standard IQ testing and psychological evaluation. Then they would test your mood, thought patterns etc. A lot of it is boring, annoying and seems pointless, but it's necessary to cover all types of people and conditions. :)

  • Yeah. Depression can affect memory and cognition, etc. Even the ability to do simple addition and subtraction.

  • thanks for that.

She is evaluating the comprehension skills you have.

  • Makes perfect sense. Thanks!

  • they ask the repetition and memory stuff becuz sum ppl have racing thoughts and cant focus on what is being said to them and processing it.

  • anxiety= your blood pressure raises= your heart beats faster and harder= chest pain.

  • interesting, you are sexy!

  • didn't read the comments so someone else might have written this, but it sounds like they were trying to test you to see if you have a learning disability, lots of mentally ill (and not) people have them, and that would definitely effect your ability to work.

  • my panic attacks come and go too... sometimes I feel like I can completely control my anxiety, and then the next week it's like it has all spun out of control and I'm freaking out every where... and that all flips back and forth.

  • Wow How Interesting..!

No wonder why its 4 hours lol

Well i know i defoo wouldnt do well in that evaluation remembering stuff and maths!

You were lucky then u can remember stuff! =]

    Whats going to happen now?

    Michelle x

  • Maybe the whole 'Remember this, then we'll ask you 10 minuets later' thing was to see how you cope under pressure, whether you loose your string and panic, or whether you can keep your cool.

No idea. Just a thought. Your videos are amazing. :) x

  • Thank you, I think you're right about that. I was hard on myself but I didn't break down... I hope they don't disqualify me on that fact alone, however.

thanks for the compliment, I am glad you are watching xo :D

  • those tests are to figure out your orientation. basically whether you have a grip on reality. every question has a reason behind it. can't move forward and work out a plan for your future until you know your past.

  • I find it strange though that they test SO much on "orientation" and how well you can answer questions, and not as much on mental health. My problems do not have to do with being able to answer questions. I think all my subscribers could vouch for that. My problems run much deeper and I feel they didn't even TOUCH them. But, who knows?

  • psychiatry is by no means an exact science :D

  • believe me, i have figured that out over the years ;)

  • I can show you the truth of whats really causing the problems, but I really want to know how you get your awesome hair to that color. Pls let me know. Thanks.

  • so this is like a trade? haha.

i am going to be making a video about getting your hair this color very soon, because a lot of people have asked me this question.

  • I think I'd fail 1 of those psychological evaluations. I'm glad you did well and you didn't have a panic attack. Good luck with finding a job. I'm lucky I've had 1 since I was born. And Amen to your final message.

  • It's definitely a step in the right direction-- you are taking charge of your life! I hope you feel better! :-)

  • Thats good to hear that you are doing better :)

  • all those tests they gave you sound like a bunch of hogwash...maybe its just a bunch of confusing b.s. they do to make it seem worth your cash....I hope you feel better and become healthier..

  • i hada small evaluation last wensday to see if i qualified for the clincal trial. They didnt ask me those kinda questions they asked you. But next wensday i have a three hour session, i'm so looking forward of that. they are doing bloodwork to before they give me the medication. They do that, ask those questions so they can figure out how unstable or stable you are. I have to start going for this reasearch once a week and trying to work that with my job is hard. GO you for that final rant!

  • I'm happy that things are looking up! Those evaluations are so invasive it's crazy. Keep a positive outlook & I'm sure things will fall into place. :] xo

  • Thanks! I am too :) You are so right, they pick every part of your brain in those evaluations, I was mentally EXHAUSTED afterward, lol. Seriously! Thanks for watching, hope you have a great weekend xo

  • I know! I've had that done to me before, it was exhausting. I'm currently on disability so I understand what you're going through. If you have any questions or whatever you can comment my MySpace. Have a great weekend too!

  • I'm so glad you're feeling better. Panic attacks feel that way, it's true. Don't feel stupid about going to the ER. It's always better to be safe than sorry. Psychological evaluations are nerve racking, to say the least. I've had the exact type of evaluation you're talking about. (CONT.)

  • (CONT. 2) They were trying to see how well you handeled yourself under stress, and how good your memory was. Plus, many other things that I couldn't begin to tell you, because I'm not a psychologist. Basically, they are looking to see if you can function normally. I wish you so much luck. I really do. It's so hard to get any help when you have any type of MI. Sending you love & smiles!

    (((Hugs))) to you...

    Paula

  • Wow, I don't know how I handled myself, but I was pretty calm. Weird that they base it on that, but you are so right about it being hard to get help with mental illness. Ive never had a battle like this. I wish things were different. Thanks so much for your comment.

Hey, before I forget, I made you something! :D But i'd have to send it to you, idk if you're comfortable with that. xo!

  • That is so sweet of you. Send me a PM and I'll give you my address. Awe... you made my heart smile. Thank you. I hope you feel better soon. You're always in my thoughts.

Sending you a smile! Love ya!

    (((Hugs))) to you...
