  • He is from la salle

  • yo con 10 año tocaba canciones de una sola mano de octaba a octaba saltando y sonaba como si fuese todo junto,

  • Seriously, tell me how many of you could play this at the age of ten? so enough with this university junk.

  • Once you fall in love and see a cop kill someone you'll play better. incredible.

  • much much improved than the same one he played in 2006. now in 2011 i think he must be inanother level of playing and controlling.

  • university standards? kid ain't old enough to go to college! in 5 years he'll be a teenager still, and he'll be playing like a mother fucking maniac!!! and he'll get into fucking berklee, full scholarship, if he wants to! performance... yeah, maybe, it's more technical than visceral, but then again, he's jut a kid, in due time he'll learn about life, play accordingly. this is a youngster we're talking about, so please people, if u hace nothing good to say, just don't say anything.

  • Cannot Compute

  • 天才!!!!!!!!

  • University standards or not, I think it's really cool that a young kid like him can play the piano at all. Being able to play like him at his age would make me a whole lot happier. Everyone can improve, but he's still great by normal people's standards.

  • He's a very talented kid, if only me in my current 17 years I could play as well as him, I would be really proud of myself. Chopin Fantasie Impromptu is a masterpiece, and for me one of the best pieces by this insanely proficient composer.

  • Haha, at the beggining he's like:

Ok, lets play it...or maybe not...but...or play...noooo....but, play...not, Ok lets play it! xD

  • I hope this kid had a good childhood.

  • Hey check my performance of this piece and give your opinion!

  • Wtf he is really mad at piano..

  • damn. he is 10! hey kid. keep going, keep learning. The most important thing, enjoy every pieces you play! great job!

  • Comment removed

  • Simply, ENZO: i wish i could play this piece as you do, HERE AND NOW. You INSPIRE!!! :)

  • oh youur'e a filipino, Proud to be a Filipino! xD

  • Congratulations! I don't know if this is good or bad, but I much prefer your version from when you were 10. Perhaps you overplayed it between then and this performance and it got musically "stale"?

  • kid is a prodigy. he could play this at 10

  • @anonymousQ45 not to say he ISN'T a prodigy, and that his performance is isn't AMAZING but the term prodigy is used so loosely these days, if he can something like this, then its guaranteed he has determination and practice, but that may be all he has, not actual prodigal skill. Someone who posses incredible ingenuity and play anything with ease is a prodigy, but i don't know if that fits the description here, he is GOOD, but not necessarily a prodigy

  • @scharlesbliss1001 ive seen your fantasie impromptu, you obviously should be learning from Enzo

  • @anonymousQ45 again, im not insulting him, or the music, im just telling you to use the term loosely

and you shouldn't base my piano playing on that, i was playing for hours that night, my hands were tired

and its improved a lot since then

  • 1:03 someone stuck a needle up his ass

  • @tyuittyuit hahahahahaha

  • nice

  • you have some notes that aren't in the score, played in the left hands dude.

  • Great performance Maestro! XD

  • good performance of this piece. You would definitely benefit from recording yourself and listening to it. That will help you notice some of the over pronounced notes especially in the middle section. Try to make it flow more in that middle section. I also notice you are using your arms to play the notes instead of your rists and fingers which is amazing you have that down for your age. That will definitely prevent injury once you get older.

  • Man, I am just jealous.

  • 1:02 look! Very good, btw.

  • Bravoooooooo Enzo!

  • From what I can tell, you have really improved (compared to the one from 2006). And I guess you're even better now. :) I really admire people who know their path so well, but never let it consume all your time.

  • HE'S FUCKING WONDERFUUL

  • he's awesome! omg. how many kids his age can understand music so well?

  • @caterpillar9191 Aimi Kobayashi, Emily Bear, Umi Garett. :P They can! :)

  • with much and real emotions this time...it gives me creeps..

  • 1:01

  • This is really beautiful - in terms of tone quality, balance, shaping, technical security - you own this piece, young man. Look forward to hearing more from you.

  • is he wearing a barong?

  • @ayehoto yup. pinoy pride. \m/

  • u are not prepared for this pice...

  • his play is so awesome!!! i love it!!

  • Awesome.. you play it better than me and you are like twenty years younger!! Congratulations nice speed and performance. What do you do to get that speed and strenght in your hands??

  • @alchavezb practice

  • つなぎがよく心に響く。

  • just epic

  • bravo :)

  • O : he jumped out of his seats

  • @0Oddsocks0 hahahaha yes i noticed that hehe

  • Wonderful! Inspiring for my daughter. Was this a performance or a recital?

  • aH!!!! I just hated that beginning arpeggio repitition. It just killed me a bit on the inside.

  • Great job!

  • Fantastic playing !!!!!

  • LOL he sits down to play again?..-.-

  • awesome :D

  • Some parts need a little work. However, given his age and experience, this piece is played extremely well. If I were judging him I don't think I would give him anything less than a B.

  • I give him a B-

  • @daxispiano for his age it's an A+ no doubt, but yes, unfortunately for university standards this is an average grade... nothing really special except that he's young and can read music very well and has good technique to be able to play this

  • @honkindonkey Well, now, Miss Thing, let's grade him again when he gets to the university. He plays this beautifully "for his age" and when he gets older, he will be more mature physically, emotionally, and technically, and will likely snag that "A+ university" grade.

  • @honkindonkey yes but he had / has still 6 years before he goes to university. you can do so much in 6 years, im just realising that now. I mean, hes 15 and he did a beethoven concerto already. Thats gotta mean that you will be more then a piano teacher after you have finished university

  • @honkindonkey lol, stupid fool, who cares about your stupid words. enjoy the music

  • OMG how'd u learn piano so fast?? btw how long do u practice usually?

  • Opening too fast.. I think..

  • he's like a director, it's up to him to decide.

  • I said i think right? It's my opinion.. Freedom of speech.. =.=

  • dang, He's like a chopin expert prodigy!

    lol

  • Enzo, I have listened to a lot of your videos and you play very well for your age. I especially like to listen to you play Fantasie.

  • woah.. that piano does look very small.. or enzo is just big... i think its the piano..

  • What a hold on the instrument!!! Kudos!! Incredible

  • 1:!0-1:16 should have been played "pesante" i think like with a slower tempo and more legato work....

  • Amazing after 3 years you nailed even better

  • He plays very well, but since he was seven he hasn't improved anything...

  • I liked him at 10 years old playing this piece opposed to this at 13. Age disorder...::sigh::

  • lol i can sense jealousy xD. give the little boy a break. his still a kid

  • @joelgan89 he is simply talanted

  • And you could do better???

  • nooooooommm

    no

  • god damn, ive been playing for 7 years and i still cant do this cuz all my teachers were complete retards and thought scales and fundamental warm-ups/scale patterns were completely useless.... my playing has gotten 2x better i think after i started playing scales in 1 month...

Enzo started playing at 9? god i feel stupid

  • u gotta have technic if u wanna play ¡.... scales, arpegios.. are absolutely necesary....

  • don't feel stupid, this kid is pretty much a musical genius. i've been playing about 6 years and i can't play nearly this well either.

  • XD thats the opposite of most music teachers

  • lol 5'4 ", not that tall because im 5' 9" and im just turned 14 two weeks ago, but who the hell cares about height when you can play so beautifully? haha

  • wow my friend just learned this but wow that is still awesome

    you jump at 1.03

  • its called passion =D

  • FYI to those who commnented 'bout the dress which is bad actually it is the national dress of the Philippines.

Dude, try to examine yourself before others.

note: I'm a Filipino. Just shut up if you don't know anything.

  • HOLY SHIT awsome technique!!!!

i play the piano for 15 years now and my opinion in your emotion facial and movement emotion looks like only to impress.. That's only my opinion..!! :)

i would like to see you more chiled on your playing.. im a student also like u ^^

for ur age u have an exceptional talent and technique!! Wish at this age i had yourS!

Good luck with the future and i hope seeing u in TV!!! :)

  • wanna go get a life? this guy is like 13.... its the puberty stage retard..... for a kid like him, this is truly just amazing

  • I like how you mentioned puberty :)

  • jealous much?

  • It's a uniform Dumbass and i doubt you'd be able to play that so stfu

  • It's great to see how your play is changing. I still think that this piece is just too much, on the emotional side, for the kids of your age, but that's not your fault. When you'll get older you're going to find the right sensitivity for sure. Although great technique and a nice energy. Really enjoyed that :) Keep it up!

  • 1:02 LMAO xD he jumps

Really well played and expressive as shown =)

  • whahahahahahaha

  • thats the best akternative you got when youre in quick down movement where you fingers might get lack of strength there u used your body forced which he did..:P

  • What the hell are you guys talking about...listen to an actual recording of the piece, it is nearly IDENTICAL, it's perfect... anyone here that can do any better? anyone? ...

  • I probably can after another few months of practice:D Oh well...He should play faster, cuz that's what a real recording sounds like.

  • Yundi Li.

  • Hey, you were playing the piece much better when you were 10.

  • 3 years and no progress.

  • lol u suck !

  • lol

  • Great playing for his age. Nice technique; really quite impressive. But I really hate the way he is playing Chopin. He needs to age a few more years to gain the emotional maturity, fluidity, and interpretation the piece deserves. This feels very forced, including the dynamics.

  • dude your gay shut up..

  • I might be able to finish this right after my 13th birthday. Right now theres still around 8 months, and i started it right now, so maaaayyybe if im lucky XD.

  • Hmmm..... I'm just Grade One in Piano and i think i can learn this piece in um....... 56 000 years....... xD

  • ahh, come on give yourself some credit, I bet you could do it within 5years :)

  • It's not really THAT bad. The difficulty comes in learning how to control the piece and play it musically as Enzo does.

  • Its really, not that hard, it just seems menacing. The only hard part is matching the sixteenths on right to the triplets on the left hand.

  • Even that's not too bad; I've been learning this piece for two weeks and I've already internalized the rhythms.

  • at the refrain part he plays them kinda slower..but hes flawless but yun di li is perfection..u will get there soon buddy..im proud im a filipino too >)

  • Yundi Li is good, but you have to remember that he devotes his life to Chopin, so naturally his music is going to be at tad more expressive, but Enzo is on the right track, and in the future, he'll most likely surpass Yundi Li

  • This is absolutely amazing. I have never seen such a young person show so much potential

  • lol, wow. the kid has serious talent, but it's not fair to even compare him to Yundi Li, who is a world-class pianist. This guy will get there someday, but don't be drawing those comparisons quite yet.

  • Much better than when u were 10

  • I'm not sure of it...

  • Speed isnt everything.... and he is alright.

  • it doesn't matter stupid bitch............speed isn't everything....

  • I can just imagine myself playing that song.

I know I can play it. I just need the will to and I will learn it ASAP as long as I want,.

  • this is just my opinion but i find it distracting when you sort of just cut of the phrase and trail off on the fast runs... end the phrase so that it feels complete and leaves the audience feeling satisfied. because when i was listening to this.. there were a few anti-climaxes. just use this a constructive criticism =/

  • Enzo, you are more than qualified to join an international competition.

  • i do agree 100%!!!!!!

  • Agree..

  • Good job Enzo!! I'm learning this piece too. Same age & im not even as good. Almost. But not as good.

  • if you lernt it some how i dint learn it

  • they say that this piece are for virtuosos. Do you believe them? I am a beginner and I did not take piano lessons, but I managed to learn it somehow. I just love the piece that I want to play it, and I practiced fro over a month to play the 6 out of the 7 pages of the score. Guys, give encouragement to people who want to learn this. Wouldn't it be nice if many people can play it? :D

  • its because you really really wanted to play that piece. its the same with me, when i really want to play a certain piece i can learn it very quick :-)

  • playing a piece doesn't mean that you can play it good... but none the less i can probably believe you that u can play it.

  • True. The piece just sounds menacing, i am learning it and i think the only hard part is matching up sixteenths to triplets.

  • =( i want to kill myself.. why curse me why cant i be this good...

  • i know exactly what u mean!

i feel so inadequate now =[

  • OMG.

    . AMAZING

  • atiqahdotcom, thank u. I couldn't have said it any better so I'll just quote you.

    ; )

  • nice, you have talent kid

  • i can play that piece also!

  • Once you've got the technique mastered, you should play with abandon - don't let anything inhibit or repress you. Express the music the way YOU want to, not the way your teacher or the critics want you to - BUT tempered with due respect for the composer's intentions on the score.

  • keep up the great work enzo! u have a very bright future with such elaborate skills! take it from me, a friendly pianist, NEVER give up the piano!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with you, he has a very bright future, just continue to work hard Enzo.

    Good luck =)

  • the right hand doesn't 'sing' enough. Maybe a little less left and practise to sing the melody. Anyway you're Great!!

  • cool!

  • It's a bit too "stiff", like too rhythmical in the beginning parts. It needs to be more free flowing.

  • I do not like the ''new'' ''tr'' he does.

  • 9jea1, well since he's not playing for YOU, then who gives a...???

Nobody's interested in what you like. I think his new trills are WONDERFUL! More fansy and elaborate and makes for a more beautiful piece. I LOVE it!!!

    Enzo ROCKS!!!

You are so much more musical now, and that shows how much your playing has exceeded over the years. I love your trills. I try to do it that way too, and I can't do it. It's BEAUTIFUL!!! PERFECT!!!

  • Neither I care a shit about what you love man.

And since I can watch this video just as you I can say anything I want you faggot.

I say, I don't like that fucking ''new elaborated'' trill he does and that's all, and if you think I'm wrong, suck it, cause I have all the rights to express my opinion.

  • 9jea1, ditto below to atiqahdotcom's comments, moron.

  • Very nice.

  • What annoys me about these comments is that no matter how amazing or brilliant a person can be, there will always be tons of people ready to criticize him/her. As far as I'm concerned, this is perfect and he took nothing away from the original by playing it this way. So everyone stop being so hypercritical.

  • don't be naive, silviano11, the world out there is not nice. Why post a video here if you don't expect unfavorable comments? What enzo has to learn is that he cannot please everybody. In order to grow as a real artist, he has to listen to the negative comments, too and use them to improve one's self.

  • agreed .however dont always listen to the comments , if i say so myself. ! good improvment

  • kinda Rushed,, but still good .. i think you didn't put much empthasis in your right hand, .... not an emotion, indeed.

  • hes no yundi li, but hes getting there !

  • het zijn meestal chinezen die het goed kunnen maar andere ookh oor!!!

Ookal ben ik zelf een chinees

  • im your faaan you play it more than excellent congrats

    sophii(12)

  • Very cool to be able to hear how he's improved in three years. More feeling now. He's very good. Keep it up, Enzo. You rock!

  • Enzo you rock !!

  • After having first seeing your videos when you had less than 30, I still enjoy watching them lol. I'm going to learn this...one day. Keep it up Enzo! =]

  • You're the next yundi li =D

  • wow..

    all song was eperfect..exept the begining..tooo fast dude D;

  • he slowed down during awkward bends :/

    i admire him though.

  • Should be a little faster.

  • you are just too good...

  • payo ko sa germany ka po magpatuloy baka ballad lang ang matutunan mo sa UP. CONGRATULATIONS!
