This is the first RTS ever made. Playing Herzog Zwei when it came out reminded me of this game even though I'd never played it. Took me 20 years to find out the name!
I still remember the code for this game on my IIC... I can't remember how many extra helicopters you got, but I know you could pick your levels to play...
Man on man, that brings back memories. I used to play this game for hours on my IIGS, but I never got much beyond the third level. At least I got to see the ending at last. :)

I used to play this a lot on //e. Now called Armor Alley for the pc. I used to connect with a friend via modem for head to head.
