You can make a saiga or any Ak full auto with a twist tie and some thinking about how the trigger group works. Its not a good idea to do unless you have a class 2 07 fll though. Not my fault if you do it illegally because I didnt tell you exactly how to do it.

@runhorun AA-12's firerate is really slow at 300 rpm. I can fire faster than that with a semi-auto AK with a 2 staged trigger pull. 1st stage being 3-4 pounds, second stage being 8. That is pretty sad lol.

@runhorun Don't know I have never shot an AA-12 but seeing as the saiga is much more common for parts and after market support. Well that and it is an AK I like the saiga. I do know the USAS-12 that had been converted to full auto handled fine but broke a lot. It was also hard to get parts for. People arguing over which one is best when the only experience they have had is what was seen on TV or in video games is lame..... Almost as lame as the comments on full autos being a waste of ammo.

In CQB you might be better off with a Saiga or USAS-auto, as long as they don't jam of course, but the light weight of the AA-12 and the virtually nonexistent recoil makes it optimal for firing slugs, mini-warheads or special purpose rounds accurately even on full auto.

@runhorun He doesn't mean initial recoil, he means recoil in general. The AA-12 has an internal spring system that dissipates almost all the recoil from the weapon; you can fire it with one hand and still have a decent pattern by the end of a 20 round drum.

What I'm getting at is that there's no way the Saiga could use the system and still resemble a Kalashnikov (which is it's trademark look in the first place). RPM doesn't exactly factor into a tactical attack; no one's gonna go 32 rounds straight on F.A.
