Dr. Tiller aka "Dr. Tiller the baby killer" was murdered at church. It saddens me. Dr. Tiller only terminated 3rd trimester pregnancies that would have resulted in a death during or directly after the birth. These children would not have sustained life and may have led very short, miserable lives had Dr. Tiller not dont the dirty work nobody else would touch. People make him out to be a monster but they need to get the facts.
What is with all these posts that seem to say "Pro-Lifers think this, this, and this?" If a women feels she can't properly look after a child then it would be morally wrong to keep it. We do not need more kids being raised by drug addicts, chronic welfare users or 16 year old kids. It is morally wrong to raise a child in those environments. A fetus is not self a aware and its brain is not fully developed there is nothing morally wrong with aborting it.
Not only Christians are pro-life. I am an Atheist, but I am moderatly pro-life. In most cases (not all) abortion is not necessary. There are extreme cases (rape, incest, life or death situations, ect), but that's different. I do not see the fetus as a human life, but it is a living thing. Also, I just don't like the idea of getting a mdical procedure that isn't 100% necessary. Plus, I was adopted as a child. I think I just have a different perspective because of that.
whats the source for this video? I would like to know b/c personally this has absolutely no validity if you don't have the source and it kinda sounds false.
Maybe you should be more skeptical. My criticism of your video still maintains it's validity considering the article also offers no sources.
I followed that link and first it turned out to be flawed (404 not found). But it left enough traces to see what kind of site is behind it. Clearly a self-proclaimed "Pro-Life"-Organization on an agenda. Just like this horrible video. It's clear what you are doing here. Showing tons of pictures of babies and body-parts of babies. "Look at all these adorable little human being killed by ruthless abortionists. This is pure propaganda and badly done at this.
And what is the agenda of the "Pro-Choicer" is it to dehumanize and devalue life. To teach people to kill their own children for the betterment of the Earth. To take away the choice of the next generation by killing them.
You continue being on your agenda with spewing utter nonsense. "To teach people to kill their own children" Who the fuck is doing that? That is an insidious lie! "Pro-Livers" also keep insinuating, abortion is per se done for the fun of it. That is another despicable piece of propaganda. Abortions are performed when necessary and the necessity is determined by the mother and the doctor. Not by you!
@sablechicken why are you fighting so hard against womens rights? Why should we have to have unwated children that wont live? This women obviously wasnt cared for properly if this was even a true story, but thats not the case for most procedures.
Operation Rescue? Those bastards haven't washed Gunn's blood off of their hands. Sixteen years and their still up to the same lies, same methods, and once again, the same outcome. The name "Rescue" really doesn't suit them.
Google trisomy 22 images to find out what her deformed baby would look like, and just imagine the pain a newborn feels in this condition, or a Harlequin baby or ancephaloid. There is no "looking into her eyes" when she has no eyes. There are no "handprints" and "footprints" when she has only stubs and claws. This is the reality of fetal development: far from all conceptions result in a functioning human being. She had a bad experience because of trisomy 22, not because a doctor tried to help.
I actually did look into trisomy 22 before I made this video. It seems that many natural abortions early in a pregnancy are because of trisomy 22. Who ever counseled this woman, and there is very little of that with abortion, really did her an mis-service. She went from the trauma of finding out that her baby was deformed and wouldn't live, to in this state doubling that trauma with this hellish abortion and guilt of killing her child.
Yes, her story is sad, but life is full of things going wrong, sometimes horribly wrong. We put animals out of their misery because we are compassionate, but paradoxically, that doesn't extend to fatally deformed human infants because of the arrogant idea that human life is somehow sacred. What's sacred about forcing a prolonged agony on a doomed infant?
I don;t know if you have ever had to consider abortion, but I have been into a situation where I considered just that, as well as keeping the baby or adopting. There was a significant amount of counseling available for each scenario, and many questions were answered by professionals which was very helpful in making my decision.
Maybe she didn't have ample time to consider her options, which is why she had no idea what to expect. She said people need to know what happens, most people find out.
Yes, this story is horrible. If the story is true, it shows bad practise. It doesn't make any argument against late term abortions as such. I know the stories of a lot of women who needed one. Luckily, where I live, the procedure is better (now, it wasn't the case even 10 years ago), women are treated with more respect and more privacy.
giliellthesecond, you doubt this story is true, you make some sick analogy about meat. You say there are lots of women that NEED a late term abortion! and give reasons for none! You claim that they give "better" abortions now...did you not consider that there are also advances in the medical world that can HELP both mother and baby?
I don't doubt the story, I simply don't know whether it is true, this is the internet, everybody can claim whatever they fancy. You want resaons? I give you: HELLP Syndrome and Potter Syndrome. Show me the medical advantages that make it save for the mothers in case one to survive and able for the child in the second case. The better procedures I menitioned don't concern the medical procedure but the psychological care for the woman and a dignified treatment adequate for the situation is in.
OK, if you go to a dentist, who shall pull out a tooth. Instead of giving you pain killer and pulling it out safely, he gives you a whisky, ties you to the chair, takes forceps and pulls it out jumping up and down. Does that make dental care a bad thing or just that dentist? Would you go there ever again? Would you go there ever again if he was the only dentist in the country and the tooth was threatening your life?
Heres a fact, there wouldn't be any doctors performing abortion if there wasn't a demand for it. Simple as that, regardless of you agreeing on it or not.
Culture today? women have been de-valued way before our time, religion has done so clearly, specially Islam. In recent time we have given women equal rights and a better role in society, so please, don't try to tell me otherwise.
There is nothing wrong with sex as long as your cautious.
Several problems with this story that make it sound either gravely exaggerated or the person writing it had no clue what they were talking about. A doctor in Canada can't fill a perscription for one, so why would she ask him to? A pharmacist does that. Secondly, to my knowledge it's extremely rare that Canadian health coverage would cover an elective procedure in the states. If it is true, it's a shame and beyond terrible, but it sounds like a lie.
Great video, this is the kind of thing people need to be aware of. Thank you for posting it Sable. You should do a video with Geerup on the VenomFangX channel, so people can come here and see this.
@sablechicken: do you consider the practice of abortion wrong because of God's commandment that we are not to kill other humans? (Or is there some other reason?)
Abortion - a woman's right to choose to kill her unborn baby - must have no place in our society or in our legislation. On the contrary, our unborn babies need laws which will actively protect them and their mothers, when both are at their most vulnerable. Our actions need to be anchored in understanding linked with compassion to care for both mother and child. COMMENT TAKEN FROM A WOMAN WHO IS ABLE TO THINK CLEARLY ABOUT THE ISSUE. HER NAME IS: Wendy Priebe
No-one has the 'right' to kill another human being. A woman has no 'right' to kill her 'terrible two year old' and has no 'right' to kill her 'terrible teen'. Why should a 'right to choose to kill' at any stage of human development be given? The fact that the unborn baby is small - silent - out of sight - does not mean that he/she is disposable in the name of choice.
Out of interest do you consider sperm and egg cells as unborn babies? If not, what is the criteria for deciding when a cluster of cells is a baby or not?
I do not consider sperm an unborn baby. And no I do not consider eggs unborn babies. A nonreligious person can tell you when life begins. A PBS documentary on human biology would explain this clearly to you; a human life begins its journey at conception. We grow and change and grow and change until birth then continue to grow and change grow and change until one day, if were fortunate, we see the fruit of our own unions bring forth new life, which will continues to grow and change. sincerely
The homosexual have done much of the damage of todays culture, and now you call this prevision the cure? Give me a brake...Go back to watching Chris Crocker.
I think that any poor woman that has gone through something like this, is most likely suffering from Post Traumatic Stress disorder now. Too bad she was she told that an abortion would be better than praying and seeing what God brings. Take it day by day and love that baby for the little time she had her.
The baby was going to suffer all it's short life and then die anyway. Instead it was swiftly and mercifully aborted to protect it from the full extent of that horror. These doctors are simply exercising empathy, but through euthanasia, like when you put away a suffering pet purely out of love. Ironically, your "good Christian will" in this case is purely an endorsement of what essentially amounts to child torture by forcing the suffering to live forever in pain. Sounds a lot like your "hell".
adjohnson916, did you not listen? The mother was almost killed! This woman's story came out because of a woman that died a Tiller clinic.
BTW, I have a pet that I was going to euthanize because she was very sick and dying, but I couldn't do it. So I prayed, I thanked God for her and asked for a miracle, to my surprise she got better. If you kill something, you leave no room for a miracle to happen.
@sablechicken: There is a certain risk death of from all kinds of medical treatment, and I don't think aborition is significantly more risky than heart surgery or anything else. Besides, it's a voluntary thing. Anyone getting an abortion should understand the potential for risk. So really, that's irrelevant.
And your cute little anecdote about your sick dog is nice, but you must've blocked out the fact that millions of good, praying Christians die every year from disease despite all prayers.
"Yes everyone will die, so there is no need to speed up the process. It's better to leave it in God's hands. "
Do you agree with the claim that killing a baby (even if it's wrong to do so) removes that new person's opportunity to sin during their life, and so guarantees them a place in heaven?
You didn't answer the question. Do you agree with the claim that killing a baby (even if it's wrong to do so/against God) removes that new person's opportunity to sin during their life, and so guarantees them a place in heaven?
there's a deep twisted perversion in the hearts of men of fallenness that screens out against God. a rebellious nature driving man to think like a criminal attorney representing Ted Bundy. you demand Christians answer your questions like we are the guilty party sitting on the witness stand being interrogated by you the righteous Judge. LUDICROUS, bitbutter do you believe we have souls?
Do you believe there's such a thing as sin?
Do you believe in divine judgment a final accounting?
@GEERUP "you demand Christians answer your questions"
That's a very uncharitable way of looking at what I said. I thought my words "if you'd prefer not to answer please say so and I won't ask again" would have made it clear that i'm not demanding answers. In any case, now you know.
So do you feel like taking a shot at answering it?
now you speak of uncharitableness, as a godless atheistic humanists where do you get your notions of charitableness? why should I be beholden to your requests in anyway? why should I act charitable? what is charitableness and in history who would you say demonstrated the most charitable acts and how does that square with the evolutionary the strong survive mentality?
"why should I be beholden to your requests in anyway?"
You're not, of course. I'm simply pointing out that you've been uncharitable. It's a shame you seem unable to acknowledge that. Do with that information what you will.
"how does that square with the evolutionary the strong survive mentality? "
Look up the naturalistic fallacy. It looks like that's what's confusing your here.
I have no problem acknowledging that I'm a sinner in need of grace. I have no problem at all falling on my face prostrate before the great and mighty God was and is and will always be. you stand in judgment of me all the while believing there's no such thing as divine judgment, you judge me as uninsurable all the while condoning and or ignoring the uncharitable actions of Dr. Tiller and his late-term abortions. there is a word that describes your interactions with me, Obscurantism.
To me, avoiding answering a simple question that would shed light on what you believe looks a lot like obscurantism.
I've answered several of your questions. Now perhaps you're ready to answer mine.
Does killing a newborn baby guarantee that new person access to heaven (even if to do so is against God) by removing their opportunity to sin during their life?
No. Brain damage can permanently change a person's identity, to the extent that they become 'another person', is one line of evidence that strongly points to the conclusion that we 'are' our brains. So when our brains are destroyed, so are we.
"Do you believe there's such a thing as sin? Do you believe in divine judgment a final accounting? "
These terms only have meaning in the context of theism. I'm not persuaded that any gods exist, so no.
Darwinism is losing not because they don't have smart people on their side it's because Darwinists have had 150 years to find evidence of their views and it has been completely underwhelming. We keep reading every month or so about a new discovery that finally proves evolution and then it turns out it's just another propaganda piece. sable has posted a video on Dr. Tiller's abortion mill, and a horrific experience of a young woman and the death of her child at the hands of "professionals".
I gotta ask you something Geerup, since I haven't heard otherwise from you.
Your in favor of the killing of Dr. Tiller? nowhere have I seen you state you don't condone it, so my guess is your happy he is dead right?
I thought "Though shall not kill" was a commandment and if Dr Tiller was truly murdering children in gods eyes, it should be him that judges him, not have someone who thinks hes the law assassinate him instead.
"we are our brains" brain damage equals change most certainly. and so does amputation of the head. By your logic if someone were to be beheaded they would cease to be human. this is extremely bad science on her part. your atheistic ideology permeates your worldview just like a religion, you have your dogmatic assertions and you will hold to them militantly. divine justice, divine retribution. and ultimate lawgiver is rejected from your worldview and thus you must reject ideas about the soul
"By your logic if someone were to be beheaded they would cease to be human."
Not quite. I claim that a decapitated human would cease to be a _person_. You ought to be careful with the distinction between personhood and human-ness. Remember the living, human cells in your skin, which are not persons, the next time you're tempted to conflate the two.
"conflate the two" bitbutter it was you doing the conflating I'm merely pointing it out. life begins at conception this is a excepted well-known undisputed fact. although today people like yourself will dispute their own existence.
I don't understand what you're claiming i'm conflating. To recap, you're repeatedly conflating cellular human life with personhood by suggesting that examples of the former should automatically have the same rights as the latter. Remember that we do not grant rights to many kinds of human, living cells (skin sperm egg etc), so its far from as clear cut as you suggest. It's not at all clear why a fresh zygote should be considered a person while a skin cell isn't.
Dr. Tiller aka "Dr. Tiller the baby killer" was murdered at church. It saddens me. You didn't answer the question. Do you agree with the claim that killing a baby (even if it's wrong to do so/against God) removes that new person's opportunity to sin during their life, and so guarantees them a place in heaven?
bitbutter 2 years ago
Bitbutter your question is insane.
sablechicken 2 years ago
Will you be answering the question? I'm puzzled by your avoidance of it, but if you'd prefer not to answer please say so and I won't ask again.
bitbutter 2 years ago
there's a deep twisted perversion in the hearts of men of fallenness that screens out against God. a rebellious nature driving man to think like a criminal attorney representing Ted Bundy. you demand Christians answer your questions like we are the guilty party sitting on the witness stand being interrogated by you the righteous Judge. LUDICROUS, bitbutter do you believe we have souls?
Do you believe there's such a thing as sin?
Do you believe in divine judgment a final accounting?
GEERUP 2 years ago
@GEERUP "you demand Christians answer your questions"
That's a very uncharitable way of looking at what I said. I thought my words "if you'd prefer not to answer please say so and I won't ask again" would have made it clear that i'm not demanding answers. In any case, now you know.
So do you feel like taking a shot at answering it?
bitbutter 2 years ago
now you speak of uncharitableness, as a godless atheistic humanists where do you get your notions of charitableness? why should I be beholden to your requests in anyway? why should I act charitable? what is charitableness and in history who would you say demonstrated the most charitable acts and how does that square with the evolutionary the strong survive mentality?
GEERUP 2 years ago
"why should I be beholden to your requests in anyway?"
You're not, of course. I'm simply pointing out that you've been uncharitable. It's a shame you seem unable to acknowledge that. Do with that information what you will.
"how does that square with the evolutionary the strong survive mentality? "
Look up the naturalistic fallacy. It looks like that's what's confusing your here.
bitbutter 2 years ago
I have no problem acknowledging that I'm a sinner in need of grace. I have no problem at all falling on my face prostrate before the great and mighty God was and is and will always be. you stand in judgment of me all the while believing there's no such thing as divine judgment, you judge me as uninsurable all the while condoning and or ignoring the uncharitable actions of Dr. Tiller and his late-term abortions. there is a word that describes your interactions with me, Obscurantism.
GEERUP 2 years ago
'Obscurantism'
To me, avoiding answering a simple question that would shed light on what you believe looks a lot like obscurantism.
I've answered several of your questions. Now perhaps you're ready to answer mine.
Does killing a newborn baby guarantee that new person access to heaven (even if to do so is against God) by removing their opportunity to sin during their life?
bitbutter 2 years ago
"do you believe we have souls?"
I'm not persuaded that any gods exist, so no.
bitbutter 2 years ago 2
"is one line of evidence" should read "This is one line of evidence".
bitbutter 2 years ago
Darwinism is losing not because they don't have smart people on their side it's because Darwinists have had 150 years to find evidence of their views and it has been completely underwhelming. We keep reading every month or so about a new discovery that finally proves evolution and then it turns out it's just another propaganda piece. sable has posted a video on Dr. Tiller's abortion mill, and a horrific experience of a young woman and the death of her child at the hands of "professionals".
GEERUP 2 years ago
I gotta ask you something Geerup, since I haven't heard otherwise from you.
Your in favor of the killing of Dr. Tiller? nowhere have I seen you state you don't condone it, so my guess is your happy he is dead right?
I thought "Though shall not kill" was a commandment and if Dr Tiller was truly murdering children in gods eyes, it should be him that judges him, not have someone who thinks hes the law assassinate him instead.
In other words, your morality is a vacuum.
Biankito 2 years ago
Biankito...GEERUP has made it clear that he does not condone murder.
sablechicken 2 years ago
Oh I see...weird Ive never seen him state this, and I watch a lot of his videos.
Perhaps he should make a video about it.

GEERUP 2 years ago
"By your logic if someone were to be beheaded they would cease to be human."
Not quite. I claim that a decapitated human would cease to be a _person_. You ought to be careful with the distinction between personhood and human-ness. Remember the living, human cells in your skin, which are not persons, the next time you're tempted to conflate the two.
bitbutter 2 years ago
"conflate the two" bitbutter it was you doing the conflating I'm merely pointing it out. life begins at conception this is a excepted well-known undisputed fact. although today people like yourself will dispute their own existence.
GEERUP 2 years ago
I don't understand what you're claiming i'm conflating. To recap, you're repeatedly conflating cellular human life with personhood by suggesting that examples of the former should automatically have the same rights as the latter. Remember that we do not grant rights to many kinds of human, living cells (skin sperm egg etc), so its far from as clear cut as you suggest. It's not at all clear why a fresh zygote should be considered a person while a skin cell isn't.
